Panasonic KX-TGD322 Cordless Home Phone with Nuisance Call Blocker and Digital Answering Machine - Black & Silver (Pack of 2)

Excellent phones , great price too. Look great and is compact. Great range on base unit too, with a good signal strength , I’ve had mine for nearly 3 months now. Answer machine works well and easy to use and adjust too. Fast delivery and liked them so much I bought my some for my parents too.

I bought these cordless phones ahead of the switch by BT to digital voice as they told us our extension corded phones will no longer work (they say its progress) They were easy to set up and work very well and the line quality on one extension in the bedroom is actually better than it was with the old corded phone which always used to crackle. It would have been 5 stars, but one handset has a small line of missing pixels running left to right across the lower part of the screen which breaks up the text. Its not enough to make it unreadable, but non the less is not perfect, hence dropped 1 star. Despite this small glitch, I would happily recommend these phones to anyone who wants to go cordless.

The packaging is a work of art. I opened the box and (being a mere male) looked for the Quick Start guide. There isn’t one. You get an operating instruction booklet advising you to “Please read these operating instructions before using the unit”. So I sat and read them. All 64 pages of them. I ended up with a vague feeling of panic. Then I thought ‘this is only a flipping ‘phone, just how difficult can it be?”. So if you buy one, to help you get going here is my own quick start guide about how to replace your old telephones with these… Leave your old phone(s) in situ while you charge the batteries... Unpack the box Fit the supplied batteries into the handsets Plug the base sets into a mains supply to charge the batteries. At this point the handset display will tell you to “Press OK”. What? No, it’s not you. There isn’t a button marked “OK” anywhere on on the handset. Just press the middle of the big one marked with arrows, it worked for me. While the handsets are charging a message “Check phone line” will show on the handset screens. Ignore it. When the batteries are charged replace your old phone(s) with the new ones and connect the phone line to the base unit. Bingo. No worries. You will find that it all works first time. All you really have to do is set the date and time. One other thing. Finding the menu confused me for a while. That’s because there isn’t a button on the handset marked “Menu”. To access the menu do this. Lift up the handset and press the top of the red key (the – sign). That will bring up the menu. Navigate around it with the + or – and arrow keys as appropriate. Other than that; the piano black plastic styling is great, the handsets are a nice weight, the pre set volumes and ringtone were fine for us, the buttons on the handset are big and firm and the handset display is very clear. All in all absolutely superb. Except, of course, for the absence of a quick start guide (see above). If you really want to dig into the operating instructions to work out how to do all the clever things that these phones can do, then the best of British luck to you. After all, everyone needs a hobby.

This is my Landline Phone and it simply will never die , use it every day and i would buy again with no doubt whatsoever 5 Stars i wish i could give even more . Power Seller This phone is just vital and keeps going strong each and every day total and complete satisfaction real easily set up and very modern simple menu decent button size and no nonsense clear tones and loud speaker and recorded Voice message Perfection . This trio is easy to set up as in you are can make a call once the phones are charged. The phone list can be put into one phone and automatically repeats in the other two. My real gripe is you cannot mute the answerphone by this I mean when someone leaves a message it is heard in the room. This is a problem if you have guests and you don`t want to take a call at that moment, which means the caller is leaving a potentially a very private message to everyone in the room and if you have poor soundproofing to your neighbours too. I would suggest muting the ring on the base of the main phone as both the handset and the base together are LOUD! On a positive note the handsets have a little weight to them and feel sturdy, the screen is clear and can be read easily, I will in future ask about the volume control on the answer machine of any new landline I buy.

This is a very good phone all round, with good tonality and a straightforward easy to understand menu system. My one small gripe with the phone is the length of the line chord. This phone chord six foot long at its maximum, if you need a longer chord than you will have to look at purchasing a Panasonic line extension lead, As this is recommended in the instruction manual the phone will not work very well with other brands of extension line. So to sum up, very good phone but the length of line chord let's sit down somewhat.

Our old Panasonic 'phone (maybe over 20 years old) had given us good service but started sounding crackly so we decided to replace it. It was not fun looking for a new one - I think I counted a dozen similar twin-handset Panasonic 'phones on Amazon without much price differentiation. Panasonic must have some reason for making so many but why don't they publish a chart showing the benefits of one over another? Same comment about BT. As it happens we picked another Panasonic 'phone - KX-TGD322E. If I gave 5 stars it would suggest it is "The Best!" but as I can't tell if it is any better than the others I've given it 3 stars because it is not really much of an improvement over our 20+ year-old 'phone - it has more features (most of which we don't need and for which you need a 56-page manual), like an endless number of ringtones: from a ding-dong doorbell (not a good idea if you have a ding-dong doorbell) to a Viennese waltz, but you can only enter a 16 character name in the contacts book - no good if you know Marmaduke Featherstonehaugh! Why not a full 2 rows on the screen which would at least be 24 characters? And it lacks a really useful feature: the first message on the display says "Set Date and Time". After all these years of development, why can't it take the time from the signal that comes down the mains? Even my archaic radio does that! I don't need another device that has to be reset every time we go in or out of Summertime. You can allocate contacts to categories which can be named, and given different ringtones, but to call them you have to go through a complicated menu sequence and then have to scroll through them - so you might as well scroll through the whole list. Delivery was quick and the phone does work (based on just 1 call so far!) All in all the technology must have moved forward but I can't say the same for the people who do the programming! One more thing I'd like: put a little sleeve round the 'phone cable and the power cable for the answerphone base unit to make one less strand of spaghetti looping down from the desk. I spent quite a few minutes taping the cables together.

Attention les prises de courant sont anglaises, sans adaptateur !!! Ce serait le minimum de le préciser ! Complètement inutile en Europe !

Lo devolvi, los enchufes eran para Reino Unido. Las instrucciones en ingles, e incluso la pantalla no admitia cambio de idioma.

Il telefono funziona bene, ma purtroppo manca di istruzioni per l'uso, peccato, dopo avere selezionato il tipo di lingua si può procedere all'installazione dei vari passaggi per l'utilizzo finale
