My old alarm clock annoyed me in multiple ways. First, the digital display was too bright at night, even on the lowest setting. I used to keep a t-shirt on top of it to darken my room at night. Second, the sound quality was terrible (which was to be expected, it was a cheap alarm clock). Third, when I wake up extremely early in the morning, I would have to get out of bed and feel my way around my room over to my alarm clock to turn it off, hoping I wouldn't stub my toe or walk into a dresser corner as my room is nearly pitch black. This alarm clock has solved all of these problems. I keep the number display turned off, so my room is completely dark at night how I like it. The sound quality is much improved over my old alarm clock. Is it a Bose speaker? No, but at this awesome price point, I'm very happy with the sound quality for the money. I LOVE the light in the morning as it allows me to see in my room when I get out of bed, and it also helps me start to wake up a bit too. I also love that you can adjust the amount of time that the light turns on before the alarm sound starts. Personally ten minutes is fine for me, but I like that you can go all the way to an hour. I would note that the light will start that many minutes before the alarm time you set. So if you set your alarm for 6am with an hour long light cycle, the light will turn on red at 5am and the alarm sound will play at 6am when the light is at full brightness. Personally, I am using the radio as my wake-up sound because I like that it's different every day. Plenty of stations to choose from as well. I also am liking the mood lighting feature. The color display is very cool and I like how many different color settings there are, and you can switch between solid colors or the ones that blend different colors together and change constantly. Very cool feature that I have been using. I haven't used the sleep feature as of yet as I usually just listen to podcasts on headphones to go to sleep, but I may in the future. Overall, I'm loving this thing. It's a huge improvement over my previous alarm clock, and I'm not looking back.

It comes with very clear instructions, and works extremely well. It is nicely designed, and well built. My wife and I have greatly appreciated the many useful features. We really like that it doesn’t need WiFi to work, because we don’t have WiFi yet. The light is really bright, but adjustable. The sound quality of the different alarms is surprisingly good, and nicely adjustable. The display is very cool, for lack of better words. It is a pleasure to look at, honestly. It is great bang for your buck: it even has a lifetime warranty!

This alarm clock has really changed the way that I wake up in the morning because the light always wakes me up in a much more natural way than a sound alarm ever has. I prefer the natural light to wake me up to the sound alarm because it’s not something i try to turn off right away. I like that this alarm has so many ways to individualize it - such as how much time before you want the alarm to go off do you want the light to start turning on, and the way that you can set it to mon-fri alarms or Monday-Sunday alarms! I really like that you don’t have to have a sound with the light for the alarm, and that it can just be the light. I don’t use the sounds personally, but the sound choices they have are great. The only thing I wish that you could do is adjust the amount of time the light stays on past the alarm set time. For me, I would like to be able to set the alarm to stay on for a longer period of time - which i think technically could be extended if you hit the snooze button, but when you hit snooze, the light goes out. However, I did find a workaround for this.. which was to set an additional alarm for later and have it start the light on time at the time when the first alarm was set to. I am honestly not sure how long the light stays on past the alarm if you don’t hit snooze.. There were times when it went out after 15 minutes, and sometimes it was longer. There is nothing in the instructions that talks about the light time following the alarm set time.. Overall though, it was pretty easy to figure out how to set the times and get the settings to a place that worked for me. I love this alarm clock and will continue to use it everyday!

I ordered this alarm clock and it arrived yesterday, a day earlier than anticipated. Some of the reviews I read mentioned that it was difficult to set up, but I had no trouble at all setting it up. It came with a little booklet with instructions on how to set the time and alarms, and I followed that and had no issues. I woke up this morning to the gentle light it was giving off that gradually got brighter, going from pale white to orange. I do feel that it helped me wake up with less grogginess than usual, and I didn't need an ordinary sound alarm to wake up. It does have several ordinary sound alarms to choose from, but the whole point of me getting a sunrise alarm clock was so that I could wake up more naturally. It also has an FM radio, but the sound quality of it isn't great, not that I mind because I didn't buy it for that. It additionally has different background sounds it can make, like seagulls and ocean waves, but once again, I didn't buy it for that feature, either. As I was setting the clock up, it went through the different color settings that it can display for mood lighting, and they were very pretty, but once more, I don't think that I'll use them much. I mainly just wanted a clock that simulates sunrise to help with my sleep inertia in the morning, especially these dark winter mornings. So far, it's been great for that. I also really like that you can completely turn off the clock display so it isn't shining in your face all night. I can't stand any light at all when I'm sleeping, so being able to completely turn off the clock was a must-have feature for me. Another thing I like about this clock is that you can set it for just the light only for waking up, and not the sound alarm, because I generally don't like sound alarms. I will update this review if anything changes.

I bought this clock to make is easier for me to get up earlier in the morning and it does everything I could have hoped for and more, (except for making me a cup of coffee)! Using a dawn wake up light in addition to a sounding alarm has made waking up less jarring/more pleasant. The good news/bad news: there are many many features to choose from, which means that for this item it's helpful to keep the instruction manual handy. Yet the ability to customize it in so many ways is one of the things that makes it great. The different sounds that are available for use as alarms sound better than the ones I've heard in other digital clocks, for example the bird chirping sounds that I use as an alarm are realistic enough to make my cat sniff around for the bird in the bedroom. And as the seasons change, I've been able to adjust the timing and intensity of the dawn light to a level that works best for me. While I bought this as an alarm clock, I've been pleasantly surprised by the usefulness of the many sleeptimer features; being able to set a low light to read without disturbing others, being able to adjust this light to different levels and intensities, and being able to set a number of different sleeptime sounds/white noises. I can see this clock being very helpful in an infant/child's bedroom. Full disclosure: after a few months of use I noticed that the clock's charging plug wasn't staying in consistently, possibly because of loose connection in the interior. I emailed customer service; they responded right away, were VERY polite and helpful, and immediately replaced the clock. So I can confirm that the company honors its warranty. I would definitely buy this clock again.

With so many setting options I was reluctant to purchase this alarm clock because I expected it to be very confusing to set up and switch between options. Our family really needed a sunrise alarm clock and sound machine in one device both for my kids to help them fall asleep, as well as myself since I struggle to sleep without some kind of sound to drown out the busy thoughts in my head at bed time but we didn't want to pay twice for the really expensive Phillips version of this kind of clock. I bought two of these and couldn't be more satisfied with them. They are light weight, and extremely easy to setup and use on a daily basis. My kids love the crickets sounds for bedtime and I love the rain or white noise options. The various nightlight options are great and the sunrise effect is bright enough to really feel like the sun is rising in my window. Its truly amazing how effective that feature is with helping to wake us up. The best part is when my toddler goes and hits and fiddles with all the buttons, he never ends up changing any of the settings! It is totally toddler proof! LOL. If I could offer any constructive feedback it would be that one came with slight scratches across the front surface despite it being fantastically packaged but when the device is lit up you can't tell at all so I don't really care about that now. I do wish the dimming settings could go even a couple of options lower for when I use it for my kids since its still a bit bright for my preference even on the lowest setting. I love the crackling light effect. And we were def looking for the abilitly to have the night light on a timer. You can also have two different alarm times so my husband can wake up on a different timing then me. This works absolutely great, except we don't use the daylight option like that or it would wake me up too haha. Great alarm clock!

I wanted a unique way to be awakened and what I wanted had to have the day of the week there when I woke up. I found it! At the correct time, this "wake-up" device was a bright yellow (the room was lit up) and a pleasant, calming tune was playing. Quickly, I looked over at this "alarm" and written, clearly, was the day of the week. No, it does not have a radio; and, honestly, I am not one who needs a lot of noise in the morning! But I DID have a bright, lit up room, calming music, and I knew the day of the week - right when I woke up! I found what I wanted!

I really liked this alarm clock when I received it. It was modern and had a great set of features. I was specifically looking for an alarm clock that had dual alarms, and this one did. My issue: Once the alarm was set, it wouldn't play. I followed the instructions, and I was able to get the alarm to play, but only when I reset the alarm going through all of the settings individually. If I shut the alarm off, and then reset the alarm by pressing the alarm 1 (or 2) button, the alarm icon appeared, and I expected the alarm to play at the time I set it for. That didn't happen. I thought this was a defect, but I had 2 of the same clock shipped to me, so I tested it on the other one and it did the same thing. I know it sounds like you can work around the alarm not setting, but once you went through reapplying all of the settings (time, alarm sound, volume...etc), then you have an alarm clock icon flashing, and some Zzzz's on the screen flashing. I really don't want flashing lights on the display when I'm going to bed. Once the alarm is set the first time, you should be able to select the alarm 1 or alarm 2 button by pressing the button one time until the icon appears. I actually liked the sound options available with this alarm, which was an issue with the other 3 alarms I returned.

Really liked this one. It certainly helps during the darker months. But the clock display has disappeared after just over a year. So hugely disappointing product.

All the buttons does not work and no USB charger . The quality is very bad
