According to Gardening Know How on the internet, they say "Avocados need nitrogen, first and foremost, and a little zinc. You can use a citrus tree fertilizer as an avocado fertilizer or go organic and use compost, coffee, fish emulsion, etc.". I have used this on my Lemon tree, but also on Acers and Blueberries and it hasn't hurt. The leaves were looking very yellow and the growth was not great either. Since I have been using this fertiliser I have noticed a definite improvement in leaf colour, although still not perfect. As yet, I have still had no blossom and no lemons, not even one; I am sure that our climate doesn't help. I don't know if this is actually the cause of my tree looking better, but I like to think that it is.
