The warmth of wool blended with the ease of acrylic. Lightweight, soft and strong. Bold self striping yarn with unique colorways. Yarn is perhaps the most essential component of knitting and crocheting–so how do you know which one is right for your special project? The fibre content of the yarn that's right for your project will likely be determined by its end use. Wool and silk yarns are great for warmth–think sweaters, scarves and blankets. Use cotton yarns for durability–great for fashion accessories, window treatments, and home décor accents. A good rule of thumb is the more ornate the yarn, the simpler your project’s pattern or shape should be. Novelty yarns like boucle, marled, or variegated are perfect for shawls and blankets whereas more classic, plain varieties like smooth plied yarn are great for more stitching techniques. Categorised by the thickness of the thread, yarn weights range from 0 to 7 or “lace” to “jumbo”. Use lighter weights (0-2) for socks and delicate baby apparel. Medium weights (3-4) are great for sweaters, scarves and light outerwear. Heavier weights (5-7) for best suited for blankets and rugs. ## Features - Indulge in color with Bonbons, our collections of 8 miniature skeins of yarn, perfect for any project - 100% Acrylic - Care: Machine Wash and Dry, Do Not Bleach, Do Not Iron, Tumble Dry Normal, Dry Clean and Solvent Except Trichloroethylene. - Weight Category 3: DK Weight; 8 x .35oz/10g; 8 x 28yd/26m - 8 Mini-balls of yarn ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B00D32MS5C | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,040,651 in Home & Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen) 7,660 in Yarn | | Brand Name | Lion Brand Yarn | | Colour | multicolor | | Compatible Crochet Hook Metric Size | 5.5 Millimeters | | Compatible Crochet Hook Us Size | I/9 | | Compatible Knitting Needle Metric Size | 4 Millimeters | | Compatible Knitting Needle Us Size | 5 | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (672) 4.0 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00023032010366, 00842093108603 | | Included Components | Fabric | | Item Length | 2040 Yards | | Item Thickness | 0.4 Centimetres | | Item Type Name | Bonbons Yarn, | | Item Weight | 2.8 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Lion Brand Yarn Company | | Manufacturer Part Number | 326177 | | Material Composition | 100% Acrylic | | Material Type | Acrylic | | Model Number | 601-680 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Unit Count | 208.0 meter | | Upc | 023032010366 553002615425 757015145225 599039225787 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Lion Brand Yarn - **Colour:** multicolor - **Compatible Knitting Needle US Size:** 5 - **Item length:** 28 Yards - **Item thickness:** 0.4 Centimetres - **Item weight:** 2.8 Ounces - **Material:** Acrylic - **Material composition:** 100% Acrylic - **Product care instructions:** Machine Wash - **UPC:** 023032010366 553002615425 757015145225 599039225787 ## Images ![Lion Brand Yarn Bonbons, 8 Mini Skeins, Lightweight Yarn for Knitting, Crochet, Crafts, DIY, Small Projects, Crayons Color Set, 1 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8143wtdLRpL.jpg) ![Lion Brand Yarn Bonbons, 8 Mini Skeins, Lightweight Yarn for Knitting, Crochet, Crafts, DIY, Small Projects, Crayons Color Set, 1 Pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91goj3mplXL.jpg) ![Lion Brand Yarn Bonbons, 8 Mini Skeins, Lightweight Yarn for Knitting, Crochet, Crafts, DIY, Small Projects, Crayons Color Set, 1 Pack - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91aPFG54PmL.jpg) ![Lion Brand Yarn Bonbons, 8 Mini Skeins, Lightweight Yarn for Knitting, Crochet, Crafts, DIY, Small Projects, Crayons Color Set, 1 Pack - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ps-6KQ6pL.jpg) ![Lion Brand Yarn Bonbons, 8 Mini Skeins, Lightweight Yarn for Knitting, Crochet, Crafts, DIY, Small Projects, Crayons Color Set, 1 Pack - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/810+flJYavL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour Name** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and bright *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 June 2016* Yes they are small but they are just beautiful colours and absolutely perfect for small bright projects. I bought them for a rainbow unicorn hat I crocheted for my daughter and they look wonderful she loves it. Feels good and easy to work with i have already ordered some more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ love these 25g balls of yarn from lion brand *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 August 2016* Love these ,they crochet up lovely, making small lap cover, at 25g balls all colours can be taken with you easily when on long drives or on holiday ,bought 2 sets will be buying more ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for very small projects *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 May 2016* I ordered these for my daughter who has just taken up knitting. They arrived next day with Amazon prime. These are MINI balls of wool - they are very small and are only big enough to make a pompom so be aware of this before purchasing. That said you do get a variety of eight bright colours and the wool is lovely and soft. They come on a packet altogether and are well presented. These are great if you are planning a small multi colour project and don't want to purchase a lot of wool - However even altogether I don't think they would equal a standard ball of wool. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lion Brand Yarn Lion Brand Bonbons 680 Crayons - 14PCS Aluminum Crochet Hooks Knitting Needles Craft Yarn 2.0mm/2.5mm/3.0mm/3.5mm/4.0mm/4.5mm/5.0mm/5.5mm/6.0mm/6.5mm/7.0mm/8.0mm/9.0mm/10.0mm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/48886702-lion-brand-yarn-bonbons-8-mini-skeins-lightweight-yarn-knitting](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/48886702-lion-brand-yarn-bonbons-8-mini-skeins-lightweight-yarn-knitting) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
