so this review is a good insight if you are just a regular old pen ...
I bought this pen as I would soon need writing apparatus to take me through my exams. I have never even spent such price of this on a Rollerball Finelines Pen before, so this review is a good insight if you are just a regular old pen user like myself, well until now.USAGE:you see I am left handed and so the pen rollerball smudges when i write, however using this beautiful well weighted pen, the Schneider Refill seems to dry the moment it touches the paper and so it does not smudge at all. the next thing to note about this pen is thread design between the cap and head are opposite to the head and pole rather than the usual pressure one must apply, it is as if the Ballpoint Signing pen writes for you. Now this may seem like rubbish, as it did to me pre-purchase, however upon using it i discovered this almost instantly. to prevent having mistake when you want to open one part of them, i used this metal pen for a 2 hour exam, then 5 days later i used a bic pen for a 2 hour exam, and by the first hour of writing with the bic pen, my hand grew that strain of excessive writing, which was not present with the Brassmaster. The next thing i would like to mention about the Rollerball Finelines pen is how splendid its heavy weight is, it is balanced just perfectly so that my messy handwriting actually looks readable with this pure brilliant pen. each cartridge is used Schneider Topball 850 Rollerall, it is a seriously TOP BRAND. finally the twist to make the nib appear is unmatched in smoothness, i get enjoyment just out of twisting it back and forth.LOOKS:its actually more shiny in person, and its size with noticeable curves means that when you get the metal pen out in an exam hall, people must think your a t**t but no seriously it looks really great and the top of the Ballpoint Signing pen is of a shiny mirror like metal that reflects so nicely with sunlight that the pen appears to sparkle. This Ballpoint Signing pen is honestly a life changer, if you have extensive writing coming up in your life, the pen will see you through it better than no other, and if you want to look important, only this Wood metal pen could do that.

Really lovely pen but had an issue with the actual refill not writing constantly. I have to rewrite lots of words as the ink fails to come out sometimes. The quality of the actual pen is wonderful but you should buy a case for it to protect it if you are using it constantly.

Nothing special, looks cheaper than photo and definitely not worth £79.99!
It was out wedding anniversary and so wanted to get something my husband would use and in the tradition of a "brass" gift and my husband's love for writing thought this would be a beautiful gift. Double bonus being original price (allegedly) £79.99, sale price £17.99!It arrived promptly, inside a cheap cardboard gift box.The wood looks like plastic. The brass sheath is OK, and hoods wellThe ink refill is a standard, cheap rollerball one.It writes OK, and not really a fine nib though as advertised. In all, if I saw this , even at £17.99 on a shelf I would have walked past it.Seen better looking pens far cheaper. Very disappointed as was a gift and looks like I bought it in the Pound shop tbh.I haven't included pictures as there are plenty from previous purchasers.

Great Promise but ultimately let down
When you are offered a product with RRP £79.99 which discounted to £17.99 it seems a great bargain should be at hand, however when got this ball pen found I was disappointed. The brass is very weighted which good but the wood looked plastic or "faux wooden" (this may not be the correct term but you get the gist) This plastic look very much let the product down for me. It writes well and does feel good in hand nevertheless and it will be interesting to see what refills it can adapt to but plastic looking wood just does not feel, nor look good I'm afraid!

Lovely solid pen. Writes well, with great balance. Pity it isn't possible to screw the lid onto the top when you aren't using it, but apart from this really nice.

Good pen. Should have been in a good presentation box. Did not have any documentation. No good as a present but is a very nice pen. No clip.

Nice pen but advertised wrongly. UPDATED: issue resolved, lovely pen.
Nice pen but advertised as copper but actually brass. As this was bought as an Anniversary present for my wife, 9 years is copper this present is a waste of money for me.UPDATE: Issue resolved with seller promptly, their customer service was brilliant and their listed updated. The Pen itself is beautifully crafted with a lovely weight to it, very smooth action and a pleasure to write with when I tried it.
