Doctor Easy Elephant & Rhino Ear Wash Basin

I bought this in conjuction with the elephant ear washer bottle system by the same brand.I bought this because this is EXACTLY what they use at my docs office and than bill my insurance under "surgery". O_OI made note of the spray bottle before I left, checked it on Amazon, and sure enough, there it was along with this ear basin.I have small ear canals so I am told and they have a habit of blocking up every 6 months or so. This would warranty a trip to my primary care physician or an ear / nose / throat doc. That gets old (and expensive). I have only used this once since I bought it in 2014 but the once I used it was all I needed. I had gotten to the point where I could not hear. I filled the bottle with a mixture of a little bit of peroxide and mostly warm water and used the bottle as directed. I than used THIS basin to catch all the yuckiness.The verdict was? It works. The price of the bottle is less than my PCP copay and now I can use it over and over again. The basin has the perfect shape and weight to catch what it needs to catch. Good product.

This product really helped me, I know its not hard to screw up a basin but still when you need one it comes in handy. I was in need of a basin to clean my ears out and this worked as needed. Nothing like necessity to make something very useful and that is enough for me.

I had gradually lost the hearing in my left ear due to a buildup of wax. I finally lined up all the right array of tools and this was a great addition. In fact, it did a perfect job of capturing all the liquid and solid matter that I flushed from the ear and kept it from going onto the floor or down my neck. I was finally able to safely and cleanly loosen and then flush out the plug of wax that had been bothering me with the help of this basin.

As I read in other reviews it is easier with someone helping you while you do the cleaning by yourself and I ask my patients to hold it while I clean their ears with a towel in their shoulders.Why I give this product 4 stars? Because price is a bit too high for me.

This purchase was for my 91-year-old husband who is deaf in one ear. It's important to keep his "good" ear clear of wax, and he's had the wax removed at the doctor's office a couple of times. This Elephant Ear Basin is shaped just like the one they used at the doctor's office, and I found an Ear Wax Removal Syringe on amazon.com, so I purchased both.The Basin is a little smaller and quite a bit lighter than the one at the doctor's office, but it is perfectly adequate for catching the flow from the ear while using the syringe. Another reviewer complained that you need two hands to hold it. I just have my husband hold it while I operate the syringe, and it works just fine. I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.

Very handy to have when rinsing you ears. I was having an awful time trying to learn over the sink. This makes it so easy. So easy to use with others too.

I bought this to go along with the Elephant Ear Washer Bottle System to use on my 90 year old dad. At first I thought I would just use a dish but after seeing this used at the VA clinic on him, I knew it was an idea that would make the procedure much easier for him..

I like it. It catches all the water that runs from the ear with no dripping watery mess. A 👍 buy.
