Expensive but very good for rubber stamps.

I love this. I've recently started lino printing, and love this pink lino. I have damaged hands and find this very easy to carve, whilst still getting a sharp line. Print detail is very good. It's not quite as detailed as with, for example, essdee lino, but for ease of use I'd definitely choose this. It's a small piece, and not cheap, so I'd recommend being sure of what you're going to produce and not start carving into this spur of the moment. I'd also recommend aiming for a design that maybe isn't highly or delicately detailed. I'll be buying it again, I really enjoy working with it. I have purchased this item before and it is great, easy to use and soft. However I put 4 stars because this time I ordered it and it's still time that it hasn't arrived after a week I ordered it.

Cuts down to smaller size with a sturdy pair of scissors. Carves easily and very cleanly, without ripping, tearing or crumbling (and my knives are just from an inexpensive starter kit - nothing fancy). Much nicer to carve than lino, and easier to see the transferred guidelines than it is to see them on lino. Soft, with a little 'give', so it delivers a good print from acrylic based ink or from stamping (alcohol-based?) ink, using just hand pressure with a baren of some description or leaning on a heavy book on top of it. Images show the inked-up speedball (black ink), and a print made with stamping ink.

I love this stuff - easy to carve, prints well, easy to clean, but best of all I can transfer a drawing onto it just by placing it pencil side down on the block and rubbing the back. And it's thick enough to be able to use both sides which makes it really economical. Delivery was faster than I expected since it has to ship from the US.

This is by far the best stuff I've used. It's like a big pencil eraser and carves live a knife through butter! Once you use this you won't want to use anything else. It's expensive so I'd love to find a cheaper alternative but as they say, You get what you pay for!

I buy this product to create stamps, for which is good, but not excellent. Totally overpriced.

I love this stuff. I have done a lot of work with linoleum engraving and the beauty of this is that it cuts like butter and I can use the same tools that I already own. It inks well too. I just wish it wasn't so pricey.

I could sit here and rave about Speedball Linocut Carve. I’ve been using for them years and I have never had an issue. Great for beginners and easy to cut! I carve stamps of people’s animals out of them and I have been praised for the quality. Easy to clean and easy to use!

Das mit Abstand beste Stempelgummi zum Schnitzen von Stempeln, das es gibt! Leicht zu schneiden, aber es bröselt nicht und hält sich auch viel besser als andere Marken, sodass man lange etwas von seinen Stempeln hat. Es lassen sich sehr feine Motive schneiden und die Oberfläche ist fest und dicht. Schade, dass es das nicht in Deutschland zu kaufen gibt. Versand aus GB ging aber sehr schnell. Der Block war nach 3 Tagen da.

Use these for printing on fabric and they work great. Like cutting through butter after using linoleum blocks. Great for the kids as they learn because it doesn't require nearly as much pressure to make your cuts, which also means the blades don't slip off the surface like with the harder linoleum. The size has been perfect for making designs to use on t-shirts and bags, and material is easy to cut into smaller pieces for small stamps or designs that use multiple color. We will definitely be buying again.
