This works well, but a big drawback for me is that it does not state what it contains. It seems to be perfumed somehow, possibly just with essential oils, but I have no way to verify this. Also, wanted a product that contains only enzymes and/or bacteria and no additional surfactants or other cleaning agents, even if natural (as totally unnecessary - enzyme or bacteria work fine without any additional cleaning agents). I have 2 neutered male cats and now have a male stray cat (not neutered, of course) that keeps coming in via my cat flap and marks in my house sometimes.. Am more than happy with the way it works, definitely gets rid of urine smells very effectively when used correctly and would definitely recommend if your only concern is effectiveness - smells are gone after one application (but see edit below). Edit: Since my original review, have re-bought this multiple times, as it is convenient, keeps well over a long time, and concentrated refill is very good value. If you are using this on smooth, flat surfaces, one application will work fully. If you are using this on carpet or laminate/wood floors, you will need to find out if any urine has soaked down to underlay or underneath your floor surface or gone into cracks between boards. Those areas will not be treated sufficiently by just spraying on top, so as some reviewers have mentioned, you might well find the smell returns. With untreated wood, you will need to apply very generously, maybe more than once, so it soaks right into the wood. And be generous where there are joins or cracks.. Also, if the stain is older, and you maybe did not notice it straight away, you might need multiple applications. Never use anything anti-bacterial before using this, including anything containing alcohol. Any other cleaning agents should be fully dry or washed off first.

Effective as a deodoriser on pet bedding after vacuuming. Has a fresh, mild minty scent. Not an overpowering, sickly scent like some more well known fabric refreshers. Sprays out in a generous fine mist so easily distributed but doesnt saturate material. Have used it on other areas in the house and found it to be effective there too. Spray bottle appears to be good quality. Was vac packed when arrived. I have used this every day since i got it and have used hardly any of the volume so id say its good value.

I am impressed with this item, after following instructions on the spray, the strong odour of our dogs urine "accident" disappeared. Having used different products, over the years, this one has been the only product which seems to get rid of the odour.

Scent is nice, I like it even after spraying loads in the whole bathroom. I've been using it after my kitten has decided to poop on the bathroom floor (she wees in the litter box though also located in the bathroom). It's great at cleaning, no poop smell left after using it. However it hasn't stopped her pooping. I've started using much more and leaving it to soak in (not wiping nay excess) hoping that more product will deter her. She seems to now poop right at the edge of the floor (maybe there's less product thete or less bothersome) but nevertheless still doing it. Going to take her to the vet incase it's not a behavioural problem, if so will update as possible no spray could help it. So far though it's an effective but overpriced cleaner.

My cat pooped in our gorgeous antique tub leaving a stubborn stain. I tried everything. Finally resorted to buying this stain remover and it worked!! Thought I’d try it as well in our 100+ year old toilet. There were dark stains at the bottom for as long as we’ve lived here. I have tried myself and hired cleaners to scrub the schmuck out of it with many products & tools. Finally I found this. I drained the toilet basin, let it sit for over an hour (way longer than the directions say) checking every few min. It still took a lot of scrubbing but it finally looks clean. I was careful to wipe up with a paper towel as much as I could before rinsing and flushing. It’s amazing, but it’s not the kind of product we want ending up in our waterways.

I bought this for my daughter, who is a single mum and hard pressed. She has a soft spot for cats, and after she moved house, one of them kept peeing on the wood floor by the fireplace, leaving a horrible smell of cat pee in her front room over a period of time however we tried to wash it. Also, where they sleep on her sofa there is an animal smell. I didn't say anything, just got this product and told her it would help freshen the fabric up of the sofa and sanitise the fireplace, with which she agreed. We put two applications to both places, as there was still a bit of a smell after one, but with the second application the smells were completely gone, leaving just a lovely gentle hint of mint lingering. So no cat smell, no overwhelming smell of room freshener either (which I can't bear); just a wholesome, clean product. I highly recommend it.

I can't, in all conscience, give it the full Five. Because, I believe it says it'll stop the little buggers from doing it again, where ye've sprayed? Well, if that were the case? I'd have just bought a gallon of the stuff. Sprayed the entire place with it. And have had house trained puppies over night, wouldn't I? No. What it Does do though is absolutely knock out any discernable whiff of pee left behind. On concrete, this is. After ye mop up the pee with plain water. Then hit the spot with this stuff. I was, frankly, a bit sad that it Didn't leave my place smelling like a Polo Mint. (Do those things still exist? Unbelievable what they'll do to ye teeth! But, I digress) There *Is* a hint of mint there. Yeah ~ Dunno. I'm old. My hearing's shot. Eyeballs need all the help they can get. Maybe my sense of smell's gone out the window too? Perfectly possible :| But, yeah; I'd been chasing them around with a mop drenched in Detol laced water. Good god! Come to think of it? No. My smelling's fine. Cos the bang off That stuff!!! *Do Not* use disinfectant behind ye puppies. Use *This* stuff. It's brilliant at not stinking the place out. (Can't say puppy pee seemed to smell particularly. Maybe because I was always here to be on top of them with the mop?) I was all set to grab a Refill too. But, I held out. *Boosh!* Just in the nick of time, puppies got the idea. Must have been a few days now, I've found no little 'accidents'. Buggers had even been nipping Back in here ~ Both doors wide open. They'd actively think; 'Must have a pee! I'll just dash into his kitchen. That'll get him going!' This stuff? Or my gum gritted, determined patience? Dunno. But, this gear certainly helped, A Lot! Just don't expect complete miracles of it. I have a very naughty cat who every so often will pee/poo where he shouldn't. Annoyingly sometimes, close to one of the clean litter trays (but too far away to be an accidental 'miss') I have dotted around my home. Drives me nuts, beginning to think he's a sandwich short of a picnic.🤔🤣 So, I have tried numerous, and expensive, cleaning products which are supposed to clean and deodorise cat "accidents". None of them are as good as this one. It very quickly and easily cleaned the remains of a sloppy poo from a carpet, and left no stain or odour. I've yet to try it to get rid of the smell of cat wee from an old patch, as I normally use Bicarbonate of soda for that, however given its performance and ease of use so far, I am hopeful this will be easier to use than BiCarb, so when the occasion arises to try it, I'll report back here.
