Great product
Worked great. At security, they take bottles out and weigh them. So wait until through security to seal them.

Great way to transport your wine
These are excellent for traveling with! We packed in our suitcase and didn't have any problems. It was the most cost effective way we could come up with to re-locate our small (but pricey) wine collection. We mostly put the wine in these skins but also then put them in boxes for added protection. The wine that traveled with just the skins (and no wine box) also held up just fine. Although they say not re-usable. I don't see why not. We'll totally use them again and again. They are very sturdy and nice.

Great way to keep your wine safe while traveling!
On a recent vacation to Hawaii, I wanted to bring along some of my own wine to enjoy while hanging with family in my aunt's condo on the islands. I was worried that packing full bottles of wine in my checked luggage would end up dousing all the clothes packed with wine - I may be a self-proclaimed wino, but wearing wine is not on my wish list. I thought about getting the reusable kind vs. this version, but hey, I'm cheap so I went with this 8-pack.I wondered if I'd be saying 'you get what you pay for', but in this case, these things worked their magic to and from - in spite of my suitcase getting battered up during the baggage handling process. The wine traveled perfectly safe, and I didn't end up with any breakage, leakage or spillage! I think I'll be stocking up on these for any future excursions - better to have them and not need them, than need them and not have them. Highly recommend if you like to travel with wine like I do!

Six Wine Bottles In My Checked Luggage
I was able to bring six bottles of wine home in my checked luggage after a recent trip to Napa with these wine skins. I read the other reviews and used packing tape to seal up the wine skins so I can re-use them. All the wine made it home safely. The outer skin is a thick, heavy duty plastic. The inner skin has a bubble wrap lining. The bubble wrap isn't very thick, but with the double lining and being packed among my clothes, it was fine. If it was thicker, I might not have been able to fit all six bottles in my suitcase. The packing tape I used did leave a sticky residue on the wine skins after I removed it, but otherwise, they are still in perfect shape for reuse. (The packing tape residue did not detract from the overall use of these wine skins, it was my fault for using cheap packing tape, I'll use better packing tape next time.)Edited to add that I've now traveled several times across the country with these bags have have been able to use them over and over again with packing tape instead of using the seals provided. I have put wine in them, bourbon, and beer. They do work very well.

Very Well Designed Product - Protects Your Wine AND Your Clothes
I purchased these before traveling to Europe hoping I could safely bring a few bottles of wine back in my suitcase. I'd had mixed results in the past packing wine bottles between clothes, in boots, etc. and broken wine bottles not only create a huge mess, if its a red, it ruins just about everything else in the suitcase. I used all 8 on my return trip and I have to admit I was skeptical. I fully expected at LEAST one bottle to break in my over-packed suitcases. But I'm happy to report I was dead wrong. They all made it back in one piece. What I really like about this is not only is the bottle protected by the bubble wrap, but the outer skin is very thick and the bottom of the bag has a very reliable double seal. It seals so well the only way I could open it upon returning home was with a pair of scissors. Even if a bottle did break, the seal would definitely keep any spillage within the plastic and the thick outside would definitely withstand any shards of glass that might scratch against it.Will buy again.

Really nice quality and made transporting wine internationally a breeze!
We were bringing some wine overseas in our checked luggage, and these made it easy to pack, and kept the bottles safe and intact without taking up a lot of room in our suitcase. In fact, our European family members were so impressed by these, they kept asking where we got them! They are really thick and nice quality and seem like they would last for more than one use, except the sticky edge on them only works once. If you very carefully unwrap the wine and then use tape to re-wrap it, you might be able to get another use out of them. :) Next time I'm taking wine in my baggage, I'm ordering more of these!

These offer convenience and confidence, little else.
The things are cool and handy I'll give them that. They feel like they should work... lol. The bubble wrap could stand to be a bit thicker but as they is probably ok in most cases. The seal however, is not liquid proof. Which kind of begs the question as to why have it at all. I tested all my bags, after a trip, by cutting top 1/3 and extracting the bottle. Then I filled up the bottom 2/3 with water and every single one leaked (under normal atmospheric pressure I might add). A failure on the plane at altitude would cause these to leak under pressure (inside of bag at normal pressure to outside of bag a low pressure). So at the end of the day, are they worth it? They do look good, I'll give them that.

Too pricey
Good for wine or any drink bottle. Protects from breakage or leakage. But very expensive. The same item in the US cost only a fraction of what it costs here in India

Four Stars
Will probably serve the stated purpose adequately, but grossly over-priced for a single-use product.
