My headliner looks like new again!
I watched some videos online and took my time. Make sure that you remove all of the old foam. I found the best way to do this was by using a wire brush. Some guys said you could use a wire brush in a drill or air tool, but I found this to be way to agressive. One guy went too deep and really messed up his headliner integrity. I used the Permatex 27828 Body Shop Heavy Duty Headliner Adhesive, started in the center by spraying the new foam backed fabric and the center hump of my headliner, waited exactly 15 minutes and rubbed into place with my hands. The curved areas were really hard to do because the foam backing kept trying to stick to itself. I will tell you of this happens you will not be able to pull that wrinkle apart. Work in small sections, spraying both sides and waiting 15 minutes before rubbing into place. I asked my wife to help me and she actually did a better job than I did.I also wrapped the fabric around to the back side 1 1/2" - 2" rather than cutting it flush with the edges like GM did it.I have a couple very small defects, but overall the finished product looks fantastic!I would definately recommend this and would purchase this product again!

Easy to work, easy to mess up. Be careful.
Use the wrong quick setting glue, this product tears quickly. Use a Permatex headliner glue and this headliner works very well. Satisfied with my first timer installation. Plenty long and wide for 2005 chevy silverado ext cab. When removing old headliner, this new headliner shows imperfections greatly.

Gave my 2002 Chevy Avalanche new life
This headliner color looks exactly like the stock headliner that came with my Avalanche in 2002. Watching Youtube instructions is a game changer for a DIYer like myself. Getting the headliner board out of the truck was probably the biggest challenge...I used my back window rather than the passenger front door. Stripping the old head liner with a wire brush and shop vac took about an hour. Gluing down the headliner took about 45 minutes. The same website said I would need 2 spray cans of the contact cement, and that was exactly what I needed. Re-installing the headliner board was straight forward, although I did pinch a wire when I re-attached the passenger side illuminated sun visor and blew the Curtesy Light fuse. As I replaced the headliner, I also upgraded all the interior lights to LED for a brighter, cleaner look.

Head liner
Looks nice . I used 3m headliner glue and started from the center of headliner and worked towards sides . stretching fabric where needed . Worked nice.

Turned out good.
Take your time and remove all the old glue foam so the new material doesn't show lumps. Start in middle, stretch it and hold it for few seconds. Spray glue material and headliner board and let sit for few seconds before putting together.
