My son purchased this…he had been looking at it for over a year and was finally able to get it. Wow, he absolutely loves it. The guitar is beautifully crafted and sounds amazing when he plays it.

Stunning looking guitar that plays great and has that unmistakable Gretsch sound. Looking for a hollow body guitar that looks cool and has a classic sound this is it.

A welcome addition to The Stable. Nicest thing is being a hollow body. You can play it using bends, slides, hammer on and off without it needing amplification. Able to use it unplugged and thus not disturbing anyone else in the house. I still have the original strings on it and love them. I will replace though once I find just what brand/style these original strings are.

This is an excellent guitar and once I set it up, the action was low and sound distinctive. The neck is a little thicker than a normal electric guitar neck and is a little close to an acoustic neck. But it is very playable. The one that Amazon sent me came broken in two pieces and I had to send it back. I had to get another one from a store. It is one of my favorite guitars because of its sound and playability - but it is big and needs getting used to. The low rating is due to broken guitar sent nicely packed to me. The stock strings appear to be 10-50 but due to shorter scale length it is easy to play. I would highly recommend the guitar but not recommend buying from Amazon unless it is a third party seller.
