What does this do exactly?

Hi Jennifer, to be honest not a lot!! I bought it on the strength of other reviews but I didn't find it really removed the excess skin on my nails, just made it softer. I also found it dried out my nails and skin around them. A bit of nail cream left on for a while and a cotton bud do just the same thing but a lot cheaper!!
