Does exactly what it says. I use this on a Hario carafe, not a coffee machine, so can't speak to its effectiveness when running through a system, but it cleaned up the stains fro the chrome interior of my carafe within an hour of soaking in hot water.

It does what is supposed to.

This brand was recommended by the manufacturer of my home espresso machine.

I just wanted to point out that these are only for cleaning the brewing group in manual machines.They are probably too big to drop in as pre-ground coffee on superautomatic machines for cleaning the brewing block.You are NOT supposed to dissolve these in water and run them through the entire machine. (These are not a decalcifier)

This is super useful for cutting through coffee build-up.

I got this a long while back(~6 years ago), and felt like 32 was way more than I'd need, but the prices for smaller quantities seemed crazy. I'm about halfway through the pack now, and my espresso machine is still functioning well with strong pressure.

I was planning to replace my many years old Breville espresso maker and had cleaned it with vinegar and many flushed of water. This product got out all the crud in a flash. Don't know if it is in the directions but you put the tablets in the basket where you put the coffee grounds. I am sharing tablets with my friends. Saved me from buying a new machine!

these work great at keeping my Jura Impressa running. I'm on my fourth pack now, and the machine is still going strong with no sign of the dreaded o-ring failure. Store them in a cool spot or the tablets turn into powder in the blister pack (they still work, but it's a mess to get out)
