Reliable switch
I’ve had this light switch for approximately 4 years and have had no issues whatsoever. It dims the lights smoothly with no flicker or noise, and has remained reliable throughout. I was recently changing the light switches in my bedroom and initially bought another brand, which was unfortunately more expensive and not as good in performance. After returning it, I came back to this one instead, as it has consistently proven to be the better choice.

Easy to use dimmer switch
I had to buy this dimmer switch after I changed the light on my lounge ceiling and found the bulbs were too bright. As the bulbs were dimmable it made sense to get a dimmer switch.. It is a lovely brushed steel which matches my other light switches. I'm disabled and in a wheelchair, I've limited hand dexterity and as I found the switch that was already on the wall easy to use I was wary of changing it. It was very easy to install, my brother in law swapped the switches in a matter of minutes.. My right hand is my dominant hand so I've to reverse into the lounge to switch the light on. I found this switch very easy to use. I have my light switches at a lower level than normal so i can reach them. With this dimmer switch I just push the button to switch it on then turn the knob to the right to brighten it, then turn it back to dim it. Then I push the knob to make sure the light is definitely off. I've found this switch to be good value for money, it's easy to use and I can have my light at just the right brightness now It has a good range of brightness, though I suppose it depends on what type of bulb you use. My bulbs are E27 and they cast a beautiful light over the ceiling when on full power.

Slow start but works well
Slow to start for some reason - this was a direct replacement for the same unit previously installed.

I do rate BG Electrical kit.
I am impressed with BG Electrical products; I have systematically replaced all light switches & sockets in our home with these, in both brushed silver and gold, as befits the room. This dimmer is a good switch, well made with a strong lacquer finish it has withstood the family switching it on and off for some months, untarnished. It comes with two decent fixing screws and easy to use connector terminals. I do rate BG Electrical kit.

Cheap rubbish
Cheap rubbish my fault for buying the cheapest one smaller than normal and very flimsy difficult to dim then packed up in 2 days

A smart and stylish dimmer switch that works well with LED bulbs
The dimming function is smooth and responsive, with no flickering or noise. The switch has an intelligent feature that automatically adjusts the minimum load to suit the type and number of bulbs connected. This means it can work with a wide range of LED bulbs, as well as halogen and incandescent ones. The switch also remembers the last brightness setting and returns to it when turned on. The switch is 2-way, which means it can be used with another switch to control the same light from different locations. This is handy for larger rooms or hallways. The switch also has a soft blue LED indicator that makes it easy to locate in the dark. Overall, I am very happy with this dimmer switch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a smart and stylish way to control their lighting.

Looks good and works well. Not the best quality.
Good: The dimmer looks smart and is easy to install using the instructions provided. Adjustment didn't take long using the adjustments screw on the back of the unit and allows the led lights I have to go very low. Bad: The rotary switch used to dim the light has alot of sideways movement and feels very cheap. The rear of the unit is very tight fitting into a standard light switch back box. The unit gives quite aloud buzzing noise when in use. The provided screws are far to long. The bottomed out in the back box with about 7-8 threads still showing and then started stripping their threads. I had to use the screws from my old light switch which now don't exactly match the faceplate. Overall it should do the job but I won't be buying again.

esteticamente....molto bello
