I installed this in a very water prone area outdoors and so far so good, no more tripping of the GCFI. It seems well made and is oversized. I took it a step further and put some silicone around it for good measure. It appears to be much better built than the Bell waterproof cover it replaced.One complaint is that when lifting and lowering the cover, it sometimes catches on the lock latch.

Cover was just what I needed, building a solar generator and needed an outside cover for the sockets. This was inexpensive, well built and does the job.

These are pricey but they are worth it compared to what you get at Lowes and Homedepot. I've had one for four years and its held up great. Still water-proof and the spring loaded cover functions great. I ended up buying another one recently because of the quality.

Seems well made, easy to install. It closes a little loose, wish it was spring loaded so that it would be forced into a tight fit with the box. I put a piece of wire through the lock holes to force it into a tighter orientation.

Universal components provided to fit different outlets

I had a few outdoor outlets that we're missing the outlet covers and they would get wet. My electrician told me they should have weather proof covers so I went to Amazon and purchased these. Does the job, easy to install and they look great.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it seems like a perfectly good outlet cover. It turned out not to be the right size for what I needed: an L6-30 outlet. I can't really fault them for that since I should've measured it, but I wanted to include that info in case anyone wants it for that.It comes with several adapter plates for different configurations, so I thought it would work for what I needed. I'll probably just use it for a regular 15amp 120v outlet and it looks like it'll be perfect for that.
