Q: "100% pvc" is a sabotage/hack description or actually toxic pvc? It doesn't look to be pvc at all...? What materials are these made of?

According to the Sakroots website the purse is mad of the following: REPREVE Eco Twill is durable, water repellent, stain resistant and made from recycled materials including plastic bottles PETA-approved, Vegan Certified, Our REPREVE Poly twill is durable, water repellent, stain resistant and made from recycled materials including plastic bottles. Mine is soft and well made.

Q: Would this purse fit a standard 8.5x11" notebook?

Doubtful. It only holds my wallet and sunglass case. It has large pocket using the flap but if you were able to fit a tablet in you wouldn’t be able to fold the flap over the purse.
