This worked great for our needs. The plastic tank under the seat on our zero turn started leaking, and was out of production, so my husband had the idea of mounting this on the bar behind the seat. We did it in a short time, put in new piping for the gas line and were back in action. Get comments that people like it on the Cub Cadet -- haha. It holds gas and that's all I care about.

You could use this thing as sandpaper. Wow is it a bad surface finish. and the cap leaks too. That said its a great fuel tank. I have a diesel RV heater and I wanted to carry way more then the 1-3 gallon tanks they make for those things. This works great now it can carry about 5-9 days of fuel. Solid tank just deal with the finish and leaky cap. its cheap and works, what more could you want.

I installed this on my mini excavator to solve the problems with fuel boiling, and not enough volume. It doesn't have a vented cap, so I drilled the neck and put a vent in. Looks and works great

Very well made lightweight and easy to install

The JSD AUTO PARTS Aluminum Gas Tank definitely has a nice look to it — it’s sleek, lightweight, and seems durable at first glance. The design is solid, and it would definitely enhance the appearance of any go-kart or small engine setup. However, I did run into some issues with the fabrication. The tank is welded together from three separate parts, but unfortunately, they don’t align properly. The welds themselves also aren't the cleanest, so the overall finish could be better. While it does function well once installed, the poor alignment and uneven welding!!

Great price, surface finish a little rough, but suitable for purpose.

Finish is a bit rough but this particular application it will be hidden. Nice welds and good strong brackets. Good tank for the money. Only real negative is the 1/4” npt is too deep, luckily I had an older fitting that has longer threads than what’s available now.
