Quite a good product for the money. Easy to install, I used a bamboo stick & hooks. Fitted the doorway beautifully. Lets in a good amount of light, quite pretty also when the sun hits it. Will update on the fly deterrent aspect. So far, so good 👍🏻**UPDATE** AMAZING PRODUCT, since installing this fly guard there have been no flies in my kitchen! It is the height of the summer, prior to this purchase my kitchen was filled with flies. Problem solved 😁

I sent for one of these to see if it would work in a doorway for us. However, when it arrived not only did it work colourwise, but I really needed more to fill the doorway area, so I sent for more. I now have 3 of these hanging along the door and also the window to its side giving a complete colour look to the whole doorway area. They look good, are a great colour (champagne) to go with the rest of the decor and fill the area effectively. The beads arranged at various intervals and heights throughout the curtain length give it just enough weight to keep the strings hanging well and I have never yet had problems with any tangles, though that may change if it becomes really windy as this is a very windy spot!

Bought this as a beaded curtain to try and keep the flys out,be lucky if there's 20 beads, maybe I should have spent a bit more money and got a better one.

They keep flies out and make a good alternative to a net curtain over the patio doors, providing just the right amount of privacy. They can be pulled back out of the way when not in use, or taken down easily when hung on curtain wire. The cats can go in and out without any trouble. And they’re washable, if put in a bag to keep them from tangling. They should last for years. The beads are visible from outside even when the string is not, so they keep birds from flying into the glass, too.

Simply not fit for purpose. Easily tangles when you walk through it. Not so easy to untangle.
