Bought electric guitar strings by mistake. Can I still use these on my folk guitar?

Unfortunately, we advise you NOT to use electric guitar strings on a Folk guitar, they will not sound as you wish.

Are the strings longer than normal size? I have a Hofner Ghost model, which needs extra-long strings.

As far as I am aware, they are standard length strings. I use them on a duesenberg which has a similar scale to a fender.

why is it that we just replaced the string with the new one and then after a couple of days the thinnest broke again.

More likely to be a fault on your guitar than the string. Check the bridge and nut.

How many string are in the pack?

If it's a six string guitar you want strings for the there will be six in the pack. If twelve strings are needed then there will be 12 in the pack. Eight for mandolin four for ukulele!
