Okay I rate this 100000% better than Bondi Sands tanning oil. I brought both, but this one is absolutely streak free, hasn't stained my knees or hands, brushes over the tops of my feet very nicely.. I didn't think it worked at first or wasn't dark enough for me but, boom, 24 hours and it is a beautiful colour and blends in nicely, as I had shorts on at the time and just wanted to try it out!! Recommend 100% if you haven't already gathered!! Oh and the smell........ I could smell the fake tanny smell at 24 hours, was a lovely smell when applied, but partner doesn't say he can smell it!!

I bought this not knowing what to expect, the reviews were good so I thought I would give it a go. I am very fair skinned and not good in the sun at all so sunbathing is not for me I have very dry skin and have always had problems with fake tans even expensive ones on the dry parts of my body, well this gradual tan moisturiser is a game changer and I will never use anything else now. I showered and applied it evenly, there isn’t a sticky residue after you apply it just nice moisturised skin. I wasn’t expecting much difference but the next day I was really surprised to see that my body had a lovely bronze glow…no streaks just an even tan so I applied it again that evening and it has given me a nice even tan, no dark dry patches and my skin feels moisturised. I won’t be spending tons of cash on tanning products from now on I will be purchasing this, it really is that good! I only have one downside but it’s the same with any self tanning product…..the biscuit smell 😝 but I can put up with that to have this lovely glow

After a rough year health-wise, I missed out on most of the summer sunshine. Thankfully I’m on the mend now, but my skin clearly didn’t get the memo — especially my legs. I’m in the gym most days, usually in shorts, and between the lack of sun and the dry, dull skin, I decided it was time to do something about it. At first, I was just looking for a simple moisturiser to revive the skin on my legs, but then I stumbled across the “Garnier Summer Body Gradual Tan Moisturiser.” The reviews were solid, the price was under £6, and I thought, why not? A bit of colour wouldn’t hurt. It arrived the next day with Prime — always a bonus — but when I opened the bottle, I was hit with a scent that stopped me in my tracks. Wow. I can’t sugarcoat it — the smell was pungent. To me, it’s not pleasant at all, and it seemed to cling to my hands even after washing. I even tried to return it, only to discover it’s one of those non-returnable products. Not one to give up easily, I decided to improvise. I grabbed a pair of disposable latex gloves (the kind I normally use when prepping food), jumped in the shower, and after drying off, applied a thin line of the moisturiser down each leg. I took my time working it in, making sure it was evenly spread and absorbed properly — the texture is rich but not overly greasy, and after a few minutes, it left a slightly tacky finish. The next morning, I was honestly shocked — in a good way. My legs were smooth, the dry skin had completely disappeared, and the colour... well, it looked like I’d just come back from a two-week beach holiday. Not orange, not streaky — just a healthy, natural glow. Even better, the results lasted. I didn’t reapply for over a week, and the colour only began to fade around day eight. The moisturising effect lasted even longer — my legs still felt hydrated and looked far healthier than before. So, while I’m still not a fan of the strong smell, I can’t deny the impressive performance of this product. It does exactly what it promises — hydrates dry skin and builds a beautiful, gradual tan without fuss. If you can get past the scent (or use gloves like I did), this is genuinely a fantastic moisturiser with the added bonus of a natural-looking tan. Highly recommended — it’s a lot of sunshine in a bottle for the price.

I really like this moisturiser ,smells amazing ,after a shower just put a small amount on your hands,and rub into your legs ,or arms,etc,and just leave after a few hours,a lovely glow, appears ,use it twice a week ,and you have a nice even tan, if you take time to rub in well ,making sure to wash your hands after applying ,really happy with this product ,well recommended ❤

Gradual tan and nice fragrance

I love this product because it is incredibly gentle on my skin and gives a great natural tan. However, it has two major downsides: it makes your skin feel quite slippery, and if you sweat even a little bit, the lotion transfers easily. It has turned my clothes and bedsheets a yellowish color, so I highly recommend being very careful with what you wear or sleep on after applying it.

Used this for over 5 years now and it’s great! Gives you a nice subtle glowy tan. Doesn’t cling to dry areas and create patches. And smells good too !

Mit Garnier kann man eigentlich nichts falsch machen, es riecht gut, lässt sich gut verteilen und es gibt keine Flecken, allerdings ist das relativ teuer selbst für die Größe.

This is the best self tan product I have ever tried!! The tan looks very natural and does not leave any marks on white sheets/clothing. Just make sure to apply it evenly and rub it in thoroughly!
