Some of them were broken. Good for decoupage. Very clean. Easy to paint.

The pieces came in and they weren't broken, however the bottom of the shells were uneven so I had to add pieces to the bottom to compensate for the uneven bottom. They were also a lot lighter/thinner then I would have liked and because I apply resin over them I could still use these in my projects. Good value overall and they came in quickly.

Great sizes - all between 4-5" as stated. A few had a minor chips, but nothing I can't work with. Best over all condition I have received in a while. Thanks!

The shells are fine, big and in good condition but they haven't been cleaned at all. They will need to be boiled and sanitized thoroughly before they can be used for any cooking. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of buying them online, you're better off just buying whole scallop shells at a fish market and cleaning them yourself. These are incredibly overpriced considering how much work it's going to take to make them usable.
