The headlines may read that the physical media collector is an endangered breed but what they don't realize is that its actually one of the best times ever to collect movies on a physical format. From forgotten films to rare cult movies to high quality restoration and audio to beautiful artwork and extras, a renaissance has blossomed from the exodus to the hallowed streaming services. Those brave collectors left behind to enjoy this newest regeneration of tangible product over the digital is no stranger to the storage and display dilemmas of growing media libraries. Most of us collectors like to show off our collections while still maintaining a sense of space economy devoid of clutter. From towers, to shelfs to cabinets to racks and bins, collectors more than likely have employed a number of options. I am one of those collectors were space is definitely an issue and thus use a variety of storage and display options. My recent discovery of this storage box with magnetic opening is one of my favorites. I currently have two trays and they stack securely on top of each other to maximize space saving efficiency. Once stacked the clever design allows easy access to the contents with a bottom flap that secures with a strong magnet system. I just open the flap and pull out the title I want. Another remarkable feature is that the tray and its contents are easily movable thanks to handles on the side. I also appreciate the sturdy build and fashionable material used to give the trays a high quality look and feel. They integrate nicely among my other storage elements and décor and are pleasing to the eye. They also seem to be durable and built to last. Overall I've been impressed with how brilliantly executed this cleverly designed system has worked for my particular media storage needs and I will probably buy a third sometime soon.

This is great if you have limited space but want to have a place for your movies. This holds a fair amount of dvd/bluray movies and if you have more than one of these, they stack on top of each other easily. As maybe some other reviews mention, these are a little pricey for what they are. So if you have a large collection of movies, plan on spending some money to get these of find something else. Overall, these are super good quality and are great for storing your movie collection. Definitely recommend

I used these "leather" storage boxes for DVDs. Alas, I collected 4000 DVDs over many years and did not want to go the "on-line" route as that would be more expense to recreate and view what I have. Yes, I know that's a lot. But they add up over decades. The cases sit nicely on top of each other. The white "leather" isn't leather of course but looks good. The flaps at front hold DVDs inside nicely but you can still see name of DVD on its edge. 30-33 DVDs can sit on one shelf (or one unit) depending on DVD width. You pull down flap to pull out DVD. In my walk-in closet, I sat a stack of four in rows underneath main shelf, on the main shelf, I also sat in fours, on the top shelf I could only fit one. Twice, I used six on top of each other. They were stable. If you decide to use and worry about stability you can use Spring Clamps for Crafts and Professional Backdrop Clips for Woodworking by Rondauno, from Amazon. They will hold cases tighter especially if you do 4 side by side but not essential. In hindsight, I think all would stand just as well without the clips, but the clips make say 4 and 4 and 4, move as a whole unit of 12, increasing stability. In my closet, I wasn't into style but that said, even with clips they aren't so bad. Without clips, even better. Ultimately, I used 66 of these and by no means was that cheap, but likely cheaper than having someone build a shelf system in my walk-in closet. One other benefit I forgot is unlike some shelf systems you can buy online these have backs. Without backs, items can be accidentally pushed out the back. Bottom line: Work well, look good, give a lot of flexibility on how and where to use, like two units, and three next to those two, and four next to those three. One can play with this to decide what looks best in a LR or BR. I liked them so much I bought three extra cases for future use. I alas tend to buy Criterion each year. A well-known book company puts on sales of these twice a year if you are interested. Mid-summer, and early winter/late fall. At that time Amazon often offers most for the same lower price. Hope I've helped. P.S. No I've not watched them all, maybe half as I bought more than I could view during sales. In retirement, I expect time for viewing will be greater. Good luck.

I've needed additional storage for quite some time, as a big collector of media. However, my bedroom is not very big, so that rules out a large bookcase. But most of the smaller things I found online had awful reviews, citing issues with durability, stating them to be flimsy. I thought these were a bit pricey when I found them and I still think so for what it is, but it works quite well and holds a decent amount of DVDs/Blu-Rays (see attached picture). One of the nice things about it is that you can stack them on top of each other, though unlike I initially thought that is not magnetized. However, it fits snuggly enough that i have no worries of them toppling over. The magnetic flap is also very nice, as it keeps my DVDs/Blu-Rays from falling out but also making it real easy to take out. I'll more than likely order atleast a few more of these. All in all it has suited my purposes very well, only thing I would change is the price. If you lack the room for a big bookcase I would recommend this.

It is a wonderful item for DVD’s. I put the shorter one on top & it works for them too just fine. There was nothing to put together which was nice. It is attractive & I love it.

Very convenient DVD/Blu-ray disc horizontal storage case. The flip-down front flap is magnetic and provides decent protection and access. Can be stacked on top of similar cases. Reasonably sturdy although needs to be handled carefully and kept in a dry, moisture-free location. However, the price has increased considerably compared to last year.

Je les aime. J’en ai commandé 2 autres. Ils sont beaux et solides, sont facilement empilables même si je ne l’ai pas fait pour le moment.
