This is a quality pair of shears for areas which would be difficult to reach with a weed wacker. The blades are adjustable to reach any angle and the mechanism is comfortable to open and close. Makes an onerous lawn task easier.

Glad I got it! It's lightweight, sharp enough, easy to use because of the spring action, and reasonably priced. I'd buy it again or purchase one for a gift.

I purchased this item for a senior lady that has some difficulty walking but, does well with a cane. The "scisor-like" design makes holding the item easy and prevents hand fatigue. The clippers are very sharp making clean and even cuts simple. The locking mechanism is very good as well. The general quality of the tool is very good. I gave this item four stars. I would prefer a tool with all metal parts. Plastic is not as durable as metal.

4th time to buy shears is charm. These Fiskars really work. Sharp, blade rotates easily, short blade but long enough, grip fits my hand, does not take undue force to operate so hand doesn’t tire. My edging never looked better. This one’s a winner!

The shears themselves work great. I am a long time Fiskars customer. HOWEVER, the location of the lock is a royal PITA! While you are cutting, it can lock closed. Horrible placement. I kept them, but I have to place hold the lock in the open position while I cut. Not horrible, but I shouldn’t have to do that.

I have 5 other Fiskars pruners of different styles. I have never been disappointed in a Fiskars product, so when I looked for a scissor style shears I shopped this brand first. I needed a pruner to cut back my iris leaves for winter and this Fiskars Shear Ease Grass Shears fit the bill. It is easy to use, and it is simple to switch the blade orientation. I didn't think I'd use this feature but I actually find it really handy. I thought I would find this awkward to use because I have small hands and loss of grip strength in both from carpal tunnel syndrome, but these were easy to grip and to use, unlike the older wood-handled shears I borrowed from a neighbor last year. In addition I had no issue with any plant matter getting stuck between the blades or blade joint, so these were easy to clean off for storage. I'm very happy with this set of shears, and like my other Fiskars products, with proper care, I expect to get many years of use from it.

Very good Quality

I used to go through a pair of garden lawn trimmers every two years or so, but these are excellent quality and have stood up to the abuse that they get. I do oil them with WD40 after use.

Cuts grass easily around difficult corners and curves. The locking button is at a place that often interferes with the right thumb. It needs a bit of adjustment by the operator to keep the thumb lifted at an awkward angle while using it.
