Purathick Natural Thickener, 4.4 oz, Thickens Hot and Cold Liquids for People with Dysphagia

My son has used this since he was a year old (he is now 5). Before this, he used the gelmix. It is easy to use, tasteless, goes down smooth. We use it to thicken flavored water for him because thickening regular water doesn't taste good. It gets clumpy sometimes but nothing too bad. We love it. We do wish an HSA or Medicaid could pay for it. But we love this product.

This was a life saver for are baby 1 month old very tiny and had milk allergies doctors wanted him to take prescriptions for Gerd and acid reflux because of the vomiting and throwing up this helped tremendously you have to let it sit for like 5 months before you feed them and just a pinch of this powder is good

Great ingredients, mixes well with a frother, ease to understand instructions, and great price for the quality, has helped my daughter significantly!

But found it kind of a hassle to measure out each serving, mix and get rid of the clumps in the drink. Powder is messy no matter how carefully I scooped it out of the jar. Best option was to pour liquid and powder into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strainer helped keep the lumps out too. Won't buy again as I found a "pump" product that is liquid gel form and makes life easier. One pump and mix. No mess, no lumps. Easy.

My son has been on thickened liquids for years and until now I have absolutely hated all our options. This has a light flavor when mixed with only water, essence of rice water… which is actually refreshing. Blends well with all juices, milks and a great for popsicles!

I didn't like that it was wasn't placed over my patio gate...it could be easily stolen. Next time tell your drivers to read customer notes please.

The media could not be loaded. I have been trying to figure out the best way to thicken my son’s liquids that didn’t include so much gums and toxic thickeners, this is what I ended up with. I found the best method was to use a frother AS I POURED the thickener in the milk. This made a huge difference in clumps! The video shows how I do it, and then I worked with my son’s medical team to find the best way to feed it to him as well.
