An expensive bag of dust
Upon getting young guinea pigs I I needed to feed them alfalfa however found it extremely expensive and difficult to find. I settled upon this brand.Issues:The bag in which the hay comes was packaged very roughly tightly and heavily taped into a black parcel bag for transport rather than a box. It was impossible to open the parcel bag in which it was delivered without peircing/cutting into the hay bag several times meaning hay/dust was flying everywhere before even opening it. The bag itself seemed old and 'sunfaded' as if it had been stored for awhile although that could have been the design.I would like to hope that perhaps we got an off/dud bag because what was contained was terrible and not fit to sell. Around one quarter of the bag at most contained quality hay strands. (I assume alfalfa but have no way to tell.) They smelled great and despite being rather short the guinea pigs seemed to enjoy them. However after after the top layer the strands got shorter so that by a quarter of the way down the strands were about 5cms at most and covered in a layer of dust.. At this point Id not been able to buy anything else and had to continue to feed it to them. They continued eating but as you are aware dust is dangerous to guinea pigs. After another layer: at only less than a third of the way down it was nothing more than dust. With my hands I managed to shift out one handful extra of these short stumps and that was it. I had basically paid for a quarter of a bag of reasonable quality alfalfa and a handful of short stumps all topped up with dust. An utter waste and complete rip off. I only hope this was a one off and doesnt happen to anyone else but im unsure how this can has passed quality control as the bag must have felt like dust when they were roughly taping it together.

Expensive for a bag of dust
Really disspointed with this purchase, I eventually managed to open the package only to find its 70% dust, and its not like it was cheap either, I contacted the seller who were not very helpful and gave me a 10% refund of £1.67 instead of an offer of a full refund or replacement bag. I ended up throwing away the whole bag. Would not buy this again.

Wouldn't recommend for rabbits
Wouldn't recommend for rabbits. I bought this for my pregnant doe, but it's 70% dust, which is really bad for rabbits' lungs. All hay they eat should be dust-extracted so they don't inhale the dust when they're eating and get lung problems. It's pricey as is, but for most of it to be dust, it's a ridiculous price.

Baby 🐰 grew up big and strong on this
We fed this too our growing little bunny from getting him at 3 months to around 8 and a half months and he's super healthy and happy. Time to cut it out but he loved it when he had it.

Two Stars
Arrived on time, but contained a huge amount of broken down 'powdered' leaf which made my rabbits sneeze!
