Super Legend HD Video Car Dash Vehicle Recorder

A great little camera for the price, it does what I expected it to do. The picture quality isn't fantastic but but it's adequate for what I want. The video quality could also be due to the type of SD card that I'm using so I have just ordered a 32 GB class 10 card after reading other reviews regarding the speed of the SD card used.It's very easy to use and it's a "mount and forget camera"... Just fix it in the position that you want, I have mine mounted just under the rear view mirror. Then when you start the engine it starts recording, turn off the engine and it stops. This is a great feature as you don't need to remember to turn it off or on and have it recording all night while you're parked up after forgetting to stop it recording, or more importantly miss something vital you wished you'd recorded because you forgot to switch the thing on.A couple of bugbear that I have is that I like to set the zoom from about 1.7X to 2X as I find this is more representative as to vwhat's seen by the driver. When the unit powers down this settings isn't stored. When it starts recording on power up I have to enter the zoom settings again before I drive off. Not a big problem as it still records video ok, albeit something that looks like you're further back from traffic than you actually are.The other bugbear is that I can't seem to disable the sound. This might be my fault because I haven't figured how to do it. If anybody knows if this can be done I'd appreciate it if you can let me know how to do it. The night vision doesn't seem to work, or if it is working then it's not good.All in all, a good camera considering the price. It does what I expected for what I paid and I'm pleased with it. The camera arrived quickly and was well packaged in a a secure box. I'm now contemplating buying another one to mount on my rear window to video traffic from behind.I would recommend this camera and the seller, It's an entry level camera, but for the price it's fantastic value for money. it does what it's supposed to do, it works well and video recording is clear.

I read other reviews before buying. My view is that it's great value for money ... what do you expect for £15? It works straight out of the box (add SD Card), it turns on and off when the ignition is operated. Unlike others, it has teh advantage of not losing the last few seconds but saves properly before shutdown. However, as others have said, the instructions do not match the menu. But it does most of what it says except audio cannot be switched off as far as I can see, or recorded separately. But the menu is usable, its not rocket science , just needs you to fiddle with it for an hour or so and you can find and trial and test all you need to know to make it work for you. It works from its own internal battery for about an hour. Night mode is pointless.. all it does is illuminate the six IR LEDS on the front which is great for close-up but useless for recording driving. Works fine in the daylight. Works to some extent in lit roads or within your own headlights but otherwise blacked out. Picture quality is OK. USB and supplier car charger is electrically noisy and causes picture flicker on display, but the recording is not affected. Note: Works on my TomTom charger without flicker :-)

Hi, Just received this today and upon opening the box to check the contents and, although the item is advertised with a battery, there is no battery included in the grey plastic bag that contains the dash cam. The grey plastic bag also has a "CAUTION" label on it which says "LITHIUM IN BATTERY" Do not load or transport package if damaged.I'm going to call Amazon in the next 30 minutes but I'm just giving my initial thoughts on this purchase. I've connected the cam to my notebook using the supplied USB cable and the display lit up but the message on screen shows notebook with a USB cable coming out of it which presumably means 'connect to the notebook but, it is connected.I'm pressing the MENU, DOWN, UP and MODE buttons but nothing changes on the display - Surely it does not need a battery fitted for the CAM buttons to work.Anyway, just 1 star because I there is no battery and so far, I can't get any further with the display so, I could just return it but, I'll call Amazon first and request that they send a battery out on "EXPRESS DELIVERY". Oh and by the way, the seller that I bought it from was not the seller that sent it to me.UPDATE 1! I called Amazon as stated above and after explaining that there was no battery they told me that normally they would be able to send an immediate replacement but added as it was not sold by Amazon they could only offer a refund so they sent me an email withi the RMA packaging labels attached and I'm now thinking of returning it but, this morning, I connected it to my car and it powered up and I was now able to enter the MENU's on the Cam but there are many options missing from the menu. The display picture seems ok for the cost outlay but I don't really think that it is 1080 HD. The 'user manual' shows video, photo, playback and system menu's but although there are similar menu options, they are different from the manual and many options are just not there.You should also be able to connect the cam to your pc and use it as webcam but as stated earlier, after connecting it, the cam is shown in 'my computer' and you can access the SD Card to look at the video, so maybe that's all you are able to do because none of the buttons work as stated in the PC Camera Mode.This is a really cheap Dash Cam and, given the very low price paid, it has a reasonable build quality and the fact that it actually powers up for £14 + is a bonus. I'd really like try it out but I would like the battery that should have come with it but it seems that having spoken to Amazon, they can't or will not contact the seller to ask if they would send me the correct battery out postage free using the 'next day express service', so I guess I'll just end up returning it and I can really do without the hassle.I've now given it 2 stars based on my update - still with no battery.UPDATE 2! Well, after several emails to and from Amazon, it appears that there is no way I can get the missing battery sent out to me by the Seller, "ELEPHAS TRADE" so, reluctantly, and because of the sheer incompetence of the seller, I'm returning the product for a REFUND! I know the refund will not be an issue for Amazon but my annoyance is packaging it up again and sending it back and having to wait until Amazon receive and check it then refund the £14.35 back to my card and then having to wait for it to be taken off by my CC Company. In closing, the cam seemed that it might do a reasonable job especially for the cheap price so I am tempted to order another because I really would have liked to have given it a good try out but, it's not really worth puting myself through this hassle again for so little money, so I will not be buying another. Especially from ELEPHAS TRADE!!!I've now gone back to giving ELEPHAS TRADE 1 STAR and that's only because you can't choose 0 stars!

J’ai reçu le produit bien emballé,Facile à régler la configuration, date et l’heure et les autres réglages, il suffit de régler la langue dans le menu inglish francais, deutch italiano espagnol portugais et autres langues asiatiquesIl me rend bien service, il est pour moi comme une boite noire de la conduite, une présence de sécurité et un moyen de préventionDu coup, j’ai acheté 3 appareils car je m’en sers aussi à la maison pour la surveillance via adaptateur secteur USBLe détecteur de mouvement ce déclenche a chaque passage,C’est un agréable bijou, j’aime

Fait le job mais pas plus.L'autonomie n'est pas extraordinaire voir faible meme.la qualité video est faible mais bon suffisante pour l'utilisation que j'en fais

Purtroppo il prodotto è stato restituito, in quanto non funzionante con alimentazione dell'auto,o il cavo era difettoso oppure l'apparecchio non funzionava alimentato esternamente,in data 20 Dicembre è stato restituito tramite Pacchetto Postale.Mi dispiace, pensavo poteva essere cambiato.
