I have bought this for years. At first, you think, I have splashed out on an expensive garment, only for it to rinse me again, for the expensive cleaning solution. Once I could afford Gore-tex, I haven't bought anything close to rivalling it. I swear by it in all my garments and footwear. This package has a redesigned cap. No more squeezing the child lock cap to unscrew. It's a ring pull, twist and it is off. No more using the cap to measure the amounts. Set of scales and a Pyrex jug. 100g = 100ml for the soft water we have. Empty into a thoroughly cleansed dispenser tray and a bit of freshly boiled kettle water to get every last drop out of the jug. I have decades of experience washing Gore-tex and have never had a problem with any of my garments or footwear wetting out. This 1 litre bottle is very good value for 10 washes. Five actually because I double wash each garment then tumble dry on a low temperature. I have done tent covers this way too except they are placed in a netted bag. I have bought this item from Decathlon and Go Outdoors but the last time I was in both stores they had none in stock. Amazon comes to the rescue every time. I use TX Wash-in Direct also if the seams look a bit ragged. I have a few boxes of the PFC silicone spray cans where high wear occurs. It's nasty stuff that I wear a respiratory filtered mask, gloves and safety glasses. It's nasty stuff but much better than the 'save the planet' nonsense. It's difficult to get decent Gore-tex clothing because of the Stop Oil Brigade and their chums. Next they'll be banning toasters and barbecues or gagging us because of the carbon dioxide we emit. If you have a grubby looking Gore-tex garment that needs cleaning, look no further than the Nikwax Tech Wash.

Buying the litre bottle is better value and will last me . Used this product before and it does waterproof you clothes . Using it in the washing machine is easy . I put it into the drum rather than the draw.

This got my waterproof coat really clean, including around the wrists (which I treated pre-wash with a bit of undiluted product)
