Last time I bought a similar lock it was about £30. I wasn't expecting great things but having received it, I was well impressed with the weight and solidity. No padlock is ever going to stop a truly determined thief with a battery grinder but this lock would certainly deter unprepared opportunists and bored delinquents! It hasn't spent any time outside to measure the quality of the plating and will ultimately stain at some point down the line although the brass mechanism should still be unaffected. For me the five keys are not required although good for a yard or factory that may need them - They are the internally cut type which I think are better than standard cut keys but may be more difficult to get at the local key cutter. For £12, they're half the price of similar padlocks and I'd certainly recommend them.

Good quality well made padlock

I got this to be the lock on a container I am renting. It is great for the job, and after being out in the elements it has not rusted or got stiff at all. It is an attractive silver colour, but once fitted in the container door, do do not really see it. It is avery sturdy and secure lock. It seems weatherproof and still is very smooth and easy to open and close after about a year. Sorry it took me so long to leave a review!

Got two for my lock up, decent locks, big and heavy. Easy to use but signs of rust showing fairly quick

For the price I was very impressed. I bought this to secure the shed I keep my mobility scooter in. It's very solid and heavy and we bought 2 more to replace existing shed padlocks.

Purchased this lock for a storage unit. Started showing signs of rust within 1 week, and the rust became so bad only a few weeks after that it was no longer usable.
