It is allot of fun to build. My 5 yr old son loves it and is intrigued by the fact that the jail bars come off easily for the crooks to escape. It could've been a bit more realistic if it had stairs like the 2013 version but it is a fun build after all.

what is better,playing with it or making it a model???

This is very fun to play with. There's tons of escape routes and hideaways for the thieves to escape and hide things in. Like toilet that swings down to the floor below. Also a door that they can pull out of it's frame. And a hiding place in the bed in the cell for crowbar, flashlight etc. There's also lots of tiny tools, chains, lights etc that my boys love to play with as well. If you are a person that likes to display your Lego, this is really cool for a model as well. Highly recommend it. Today my boys took the chain device that is hooked up to the thieves' getaway car and with some string, made a zip line for the thieves to escape with and fly across the bedroom! Encourages imagination.
