Finally the dog is quiet!
I bought these after much a lot of searching around for a chew for our Beagle mix. He was rescued from a very sorry situation from the RSPCA and had not been exposed to all the toys and treats a young dog should. I haven't had any success with other chews - rawhide, dental chews, jumbones, nylabones... He just doesn't show any interest in anything. I was at my wit's end trying to find him something to keep him occupied during the day (I work from home and anything productive is nigh-on impossible with the little blighter jumping up and running around).Things looked hopeful when he was immediately fascinated by the parcel (arrived after three days), perhaps it was the smell!?Now these come in a postage bag, within another bag (not airtight). If I hadn't been there to pick the parcel up the dog would probably have ripped it open, so that's probably something that needs considering. The dog was a bit confused at first, not sure what to do with the pizzle, but after a while he started to dig in.Let me say, these STINK! I have tried tripe before, and this is a similar stench to this. But it's the case with all pizzle you buy, it's just something you have to accept! The dog has been 'chewing' (or his rather special version of it) for about an hour and the stick has lost probably less than an inch in length. They are very thick (thicker than the rawhide cigars you can get), and I can see them lasting ages.I was a bit concerned that they'd either not last very long or the dog would ignore them altogether, and a tenner is quite a lot of money to wager on this, but I'm extremely pleased with how they are.

Dogs love them
I like these because it takes my dogs a long time to finish them. Most treats are gone in minutes, but these take a while because they are so dense and chewy. Their jaws get tired so they even have to take a break. Yes, they're pricey, but they do last much longer so I guess it's cost effective in the long run.

Not thick at all!
These pizzles are disappointingly skinny compared to ones I have been buying for a similar price each in a local store - which I will now go back to. On the plus side, my dog will like them anyway, they just won't last any time at all. I didn't get one single one that looked anything like the image in the listing. Some of the ends are thinner than a pencil and none are anything as thick as described. Real bummer.

4 orders - greatly declining quality!
We have ordered these on 4 occasions now and I must say that the quality varies enormously. Our first order was made up of thick bullies that hardly smelt at all presumably because the supplier had actually air dried them hanging horizontally for virtually ALL the urine to drip out before being packaged which is the proper way of doing it. Yes, if you have a smelly bully stick, this is what smells: the remaining urine. Now, we're not squeamish but what astounds me is that the quality of the bullies DECLINED MASSIVELY with every order we made. The last batch is made up of less thick and extremely smelly bullies to the point where we choke every time we get one out of the bag. Not to mention that we have to let the dog eat it outside because it smells so rank. What highly irritates me is that there is absolutely no information about where they come for (US? Brazil? Another cattle rich country??) and who supplies them. Obviously they are sold by Forrest & Son but who is their supplier? How are these bully sticks sourced?? I am not going to order these again and will instead trace a supplier in Germany, a much more reliable source with healthy, organically reared cattle. Otherwise what's the point in feeding the dog these bullies (which are meant to be healthier) if we don't know anything about them?!If Forrest & Son would like to give some feedback that would be greatly appreciated. If I could give no star that's what I'd do.

Natural and easy digestable
Had tried a box of assorted natural chews this was recommended by the Facebook page. So I thought try these! Long lasting, and a way to digest. They did not turn to a long string of stuff, or which are his chews had did in the past! I did not wish I o have my puppy choke on and chew! They cried off when I took it away after play time. And it did not appear to cause any problems withdigestion! Have just ordered more! Hard to get in pet shop! Even my elderly pug lives them too!

Dogs love them, helps to keeping them entertained
They have made my life so much easier. My energetic puppy actually sits down and chews these for ages. However they absolutely stink, but you get use to would'veit and as it helps with behaviour so I have learnt to appreciate them. They are quite expensive for a big dog as they can woof them down in one sitting; but for a little dog they can last a while a month for my boy. I put them in a freezer bag and let him choose the one he wants to finish off. I keep some back for when he gets bore with the others; he gets so excited with a new bone, they aren't technically bones.
