Comes from America so takes a couple of weeks but worth the wait. Simple, well explained. Covers everything I learnt during a week long cob course that cost a few hundred pounds! It may be an old book but the cob building process hasn't changed for centuries so makes no difference. Good book, happy customer.

I love this book.It could benefit from some photos, but it does have a lot of very good drawings.The text is very easy to follow and understand, and the style is so enthusiastic and warm-hearted that, reading it, I feel that I've made a friend!It makes me want to get out there and craft my own home; and it makes me believe that I really could do it.

This a great book and probably the most easiest to understand on the general building principles of cob houses.Gave this as a present to my wife and although we haven't yet started building one , this will be the go to book when we do.

I started reading this book not even really knowing what cob is and now I feel that I could build in cob myself. It seems to be a thorough book, full of diagrams and a fun, but informative read. Its title should really be 'An Idiots Guide to Building in Cob'
