I bought this for my Grandson and he loved it, the gold trim adds a nice touch. I think this pen is good value for the money.

The first thing that stands out is the design. The stainless steel body with chrome trim looks clean, professional, and timeless. It has that classic Parker look that works just as well in a business setting as it does in casual use. The pen feels solid in the hand without being overly heavy, and the build quality gives the impression that it will last for years if treated well. The iconic click mechanism is satisfying and precise, with a reassuring feel each time you extend or retract the tip. In terms of writing performance, the medium point and blue ink combination is very usable for everyday notes, signatures, and longer writing sessions. The line is consistent, and the ink flow is generally smooth on most standard papers. It doesn’t feel scratchy, and it doesn’t gush ink either, landing in a comfortable middle ground that suits both quick jotting and more careful handwriting. Der Parker Jotter Kugelschreiber ist nun schon viele Jahre ein bewährtes Produkt und aus diesem Grunde habe ich mir diesen als feste Ergänzung für mein mobiles Notizbuch gekauft. Insbesondere die schmale Bauform habe ich als positive Eigenschaft angesehen. Tatsächlich ist der Stift etwas kleiner als der normale Kugelschreiber, den man sonst in Händen hält. Auch das Gewicht ist nicht besonders hoch und auf den ersten Eindruck könnte man fast meinen, dass er etwas zu fragil gebaut wurde. Dies kann ich aber absolut nicht bestätigen - die verwendeten Materialien sind durchgehend hochwertig und auch ausreichend dick bemessen. Es verbiegt sich nichts, es gibt keine Probleme. Die Verschraubung ist passgenau und so lässt sich der Stift einfach auseinander und zusammen bauen, wenn die Mine getauscht werden muss. Zusammengeschraubt erkennt man die mechanische Verbindung kaum und erst bei genauere Betrachtung fällt der kleine Schlitz auf - das können auch teurere Hersteller nicht besser. Der Halter zum Befestigen des Kulis ist fest angebracht und lässt sich nicht justieren - aktuell erfüllt er aber seinen Dienst hervorragend und ich habe auch keine Sorgen, dass hier eine andere Qualität als beim Rest des Schreibers vorzufinden ist und so gehe ich davon aus, dass er die nächsten Jahre sicher noch genau so funktionieren wird wie jetzt. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, werde ich meine Rezension dahingehend ändern. Der Klick Mechanismus ist eindrucksvoll und verlangt im Verhältnis zur Größe tatsächlich mehr Kraft als ich erwartet hatte. Ist die Mine draußen, wird dies durch ein deutlich hör- und auch spürbares Klicken angezeigt und gleiches Klicken ertönt auch beim Lösen der Arretierung. Der Mechanismus ist durchdacht und wirkt hochwertiger als bei den allermeisten Alternativen. Die Parker Minen nutze ich schon länger in meinen anderen Kugelschreibern und kann nichts negatives berichten. Die Schreibpräferenzen können durch die unterschiedlichen Größen angepasst werden und in den gesamten letzten Jahren habe diese stets gute Dienste verrichtet. Weder ist etwas ausgelaufen, noch ist die Haltbarkeit zu kurz gewesen. Die Größe wäre natürlich ein valider Kritikpunkt, allerdings denke ich, dass man dies auch vor dem Kauf hätte herausfinden können und so verstehe ich die negativen Rezensionen in diese Richtung nicht wirklich. Wer einen größeren Kugelschreiber sucht, hat zudem mehr als genügend gute Alternativen. Kleine und gleichzeitig hochwertige Kugelschreiber sind meiner Meinung nach viel schwieriger zu finden und daher für mich persönlich Gold wert. Für den mobilen Einsatz ist der Jotter perfekt, er passt eigentlich überall noch herein und lässt sich auch wunderbar an einem DIN A5 Notizblock befestigen, ohne dass die Sorge besteht, dass er zu schwer dafür wäre oder die Seiten beschädigt. Ich persönlich kann damit auch sehr gut schreiben und habe dahingehend keine Beanstandungen. Zum Vergleich der Bauformen und Größen habe ich einen handelsüblichen Kugelschreiber neben dem Parker fotografiert. Insgesamt ist der Parker Jotter ein wunderbares Produkt, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Es gibt kein störendes Plastik und alles ist aus Metall gearbeitet. Das merkt man und genau dies hebt sowohl die Qualität als auch die Haptik deutlich an. Wer Wert auf hochwertigere Schreibgeräte in einem preislich attraktiven Rahmen legt, macht hier sicher keinen Fehler. Für Vielschreiber ist aber anzuraten zu probieren, ob die dünne Bauart passend ist. Auch als Geschenk eignet sich der Jotter wunderbar, kommt er doch in einer wirklich schönen Verpackung, die ich bei dem Preis gar nicht erwartet hatte.
