Maybelline Color Sensational Pearls Glossy Lipcolor, Sparkling Sand, 4G

Love the Pearls lip color - nice with a little sparkle in it.

I love this lipstick! First I dont wear lipstick, i usually just stick to lip gloss or chap stick, but i got this lipstick because of the pretty color. it went on sheer and so creamy (as described). not flaky or thick. The texture alone is worth the money. the color is shimmering, not glittery . And in the sun it looks so pretty! I actually keep this in my car, because i like to keep it at hand all day. If you apply too much, it can get the frosty look. so i stick to one coat. Other than that its great, i just ordered another tube.....

I took the chance of getting this item despite the reviews I read. I wanted a very low toned nude color, I thought this would be it but it goes on as sheer. It sort of gives you a a glossy shimmery finish instead of a "lip stain" effect. No color, just shimmer. Which is not bad, because you can use it over other lipstick colors, but if you are looking for a nude toned lipstick this one isn't it. I gave it four stars, because it goes great over other colored lipsticks, if you want the added shimmer ;)

This lipstick gives great moisture for the lips, it lasts on my lips longer than alot of other ones, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the color, I thought it would be a nude beige with some sparkle, but its more of a pearlescent kind of shade, no beige color really if there is than its not enough to really show, but it still is pretty and I wear it but apply a light shade of another over it, to give it more color otherwise to me it's like a shimmering lipgloss,

I wish it lasted longer between applications, but I love this color. I hope they never get rid of it. Makes my lips feel moisturized. Very happy with it and I will continue ordering it for as long as it stays in production.
