The New GP Survival Guide: For Registrars, Returners and Doctors New to UK General Practice

I have bought this book for a training. I think it is loaded with very helpful information if you are not familiar with the primary care system in the UK as a doctor. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a carrier as a GP. It also talks about concerns and problems you would have during your work and offers methods how to deal with the situation which is great.

I am a newly qualified GP and I found this book very useful. It contains all the bits of information that it is hard to find anywhere else, especially the practicalities. For example it tells you how exactly to section someone and how to be self employed for locum purposes. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is working as a GP in England for the first time.

It is disapointing to find out even it says New GP survival guide still dealing with components old style MRCGP and summetive assesment.
