SKYOAK Evolved Folding Reading Glasses for Women Men 2.5 CLEAR

What I like: very portable, safe in the case to carry in a pant pocket, and the magnification is spot on. I went to a local store selling readers and tried reading with a few to know what magnification works best for me, then purchased the Skyoak readers. Quite an invention. The case is so thin, and the glasses inside folded so perfectly that it's pretty remarkable they unfold to full size readers. They're well-made and the case fits easily into a shirt or pant pocket. What I don't like: taking them in and out of the case easily leads to fingerprints on the lenses so be prepared to deal with that. Also, it took some time to understand how to fold them properly to fit in the case. The instructions don't go into that very well, but you'll get it. And last but not least, I don't see a way to add a lanyard and still fit them in the thin case. That means you do need to take them in and out of the case each time you need them (a lot of folding and unfolding). All said and done, I really love the portability of these and would absolutely buy them again.

These glasses are exactly what I've been looking for, which is a reader that will fit in my shirt pocket without being bulky or sticking out. Once you get used to the way the glasses fold/unfold they work well. The hinge in the middle of the temples pretty much disappears when you are wearing them. The SKYOAK glasses have a noticeable feel on the nose so you may not want to wear them for an 8 hour day. It may be just me but I have a difficult time opening the case. I may need a little time to figure if I'm doing something wrong. Other than that, these are quality magnifiers and I'm glad I bought them.

Following cataract surgery, I needed reading glasses for very fine print. I can't predict when I will need them, so I carry them on my person just in case. The standard supply of readers is in a bulky case. Previous foldable readers I had purchased, have an uncomfortable nose bridge. This unit is the most compact unit I have found and the nose bridge is very comfortable for brief use as opposed to use while reading a book. I am very pleased with this purchase. If I lose them, I definitely will purchase them again. 2025 update: Sill delighted with these glasses but the case broke in 2024 which I repaired with gorilla duct tape. Happy to report that last year the came out with a case replacement that was better than the original and only cost about 4 bucks. Still strongly recommend.

I have a bunch of readers all over the house. When I go out, I have to decide, what do I bring for menus, nutrition labels, instructions etc. I bought these thinking they were an upgrade to the little collapsible jobs that I carry without a case in my pocket. That is true. This style is well engineered, large enough to truly use for a period of time and not bad looking(I got the clear version). The downside is that they are not truly small when folded up and in your pocket. The little collapsible ones are much smaller. Not as good, but you can carry them all the time and use em if you need em. If you know you are going to use a pair extensively on whatever journey you’re on, then I fully recommend this style. If it’s just a safety net, go with the little ones. So it really comes down to how you intend to use these glasses.

I was looking for a replacement for ThinOptics glasses as they are too easy to be scratched. These are a lot sturdier and won't be scratched easily like ThinOptics, but lens are a bit off to give you some vertigo feeling. I'll have to find some other design...

Excellent design. So much better than the glasses with the telescoping arms that get stuffed inside a small case. These lay flat in the case and fold up nicely. You can get them out and put them on without messing up the lens. The fit is very good, and the quality of the frames and the lens are exceptional.

Absolutely love these…VERY LIGHT WEIGHT… feel like I have nothing on & love how they are able to fold down into a slim little case.

Good use

I had another pair of similar reading glasses for keeping in my pocket, but the did not fit as well - they tended to slide off because of the design. These fit much more like proper glasses and also have bigger lenses. The case is a little wider and taller but also much thinner, so space taken up in my pocket is about the same. Overall, I am very pleased with these.

Très pratique, il se glisse facilement dans la poche autant de l’chemise que des pantalons utiliser une dizaine de fois depuis que je l’ai reçue, ils sont encore intactes, je laisse toujours la petite lingette à l’intérieur, car il est plus difficile de les déplier, sans salir, les verres très pratique au restaurant et à l’épicerie

These are very nice glasses, a bit of figuring out how to open and close, but once resolved all good. Opening the case is a bit gimmicky but again, once resolved all good. These glasses are great for travel.
