One of the most useful baby things we've bought!
One of the most useful baby things we've bought! We all buy a load of things we think we'll need and then never use them, but this is used multiple times a day at the moment. We've been working on ways to reduce wind and reflux, so our baby has taken a lot of different meds through this already. It's very clear at measuring what's in it, high sides on the actual spoon part so it's much harder to spill and for them to spit everywhere, easy to sterilize, doesn't spill (when filled up and laid down) thanks to the handy little feet and overall it's very useful. I can imagine in the future it'll be useful when they start needing things like Calpol too. Very impressed :)

Great design, easy way to administer medicine on a spoon without making a mess. I was hoping it would help get my 9 month old to take calpol, I was wrong!

Useful baby product!
This spoon has a really useful design as you can sit it down without the insides spilling out. This feature, along with the curved sides, is particularly useful when you are dealing with a wiggling baby who is resisting what you are trying to give them. That being said, if you are dealing with a very young baby and antibiotics (which are horrible) a syringe in the cheek is more effective. I think the only downside is that it is tricky to clean unless you have a bottle brush.

Excellent for adults too.
This item was purchased for my mum who needs to take liquid medication daily. She is unable to see the markings on a medicine pot and kept spilling the medicine when she used a normal spoon or syringe. This is perfect for her. She can measure 2.5ml and 5ml acurrately. The company should consider making an adult version.

Great product! Love it
I purchased one of these on a recommendation from a friend and I love it. My lo will happily take the spoon and knock back whatever is in it. I found it easy to follow for measurements and I’m going to include this in any baby gifts to friends.I took 1 star off as when I put calpol in it I squirted it right in the end and as calpol is quite thick it didn’t really just run out. Now I don’t do that and squirt it in when the spoon is at an angle and give it to my lo and he can drink the calpol more easy.

Not wow
I was really looking forward to using this item but unfortunately it has let me down. I use it to administer my son's vitamin syrup, it's true that it doesn't spill and is easy for the child to drink from so that's a plus point however it is quite difficult to wash out as the vitamin is quite thick so it's very very difficult to actually getting it completely cleaned so now I have to look for a slim brush that will reach the bottom.

Amazing!
This is one of the best things I've ever bought! I hate the syringes that come with calpol, they always get stuck and you end up squirting the entire contents everywhere. This spoon makes life so much easier - my son is quite happy to take medicine from a spoon, and actually gets excited about it when he sees this spoon! It's not completely spill-proof, so I keep hold of the spoon unless I want him wearing it, but it means you can put the spoon down while putting the bottle away, or hold it upright while you wrestle a wriggling baby into optimum medicine-taking position!

No good
No good for my 5 year old. He doesn't understand to keep his mouth open whilst the medicine makes its way down into his mouth, so he ends up clamping his mouth over the spoon with medicine all over his lips and under his nose. Also it's a little awkward tipping the medicine in to measure it. It's just 10x easier to use a normal medicine spoon.
