This is a great sweatshirt -- it is well made, very warm and feels soft. I ordered this for my husband in size XL in the dark Oxford grey color. It is a medium shade of grey and the same color embossed USA is noticeable but subtle. He typically wears a size L in sweatshirts, but he prefers the type that zip up. He always feels constricted putting on and taking off the pull-over type, so I thought an oversized fit might help with that + he will be able to wear a pretty heavy layer underneath on really cold days. However, this sweatshirt is quite thick, and quite warm & toasty just worn over a t-shirt, so an extra layer likely won't be needed very often, at least here in California.My husband says that the sweatshirt feels a bit snug going over his head, but once it is on, it does have the loose, oversized fit he wanted. The length extends to the hip, and the sleeves are a bit too long, but if the cuffs are folded back, they are fine. Like the head opening, the cuffs are also a bit snug, but I'm sure they will ease up with wear. The hood is generously sized, covers his head well and extends forward a few inches but doesn't flop down and cover the face. It provides for good protection against rain or wind and the inside of the hood has a waffle texture that looks good when it isn't being worn to cover the head. The fabric is 75% cotton/25% polyester, as described and it is thick and heavy, as well as very soft on the inside. The outside feels smooth but durable. The kangaroo pocket is large with plenty of room for keys and such or just to keep hands warm. The sweatshirt is very well made with even stitching and nicely finished seams. The seams are smooth and lie flat so they aren't uncomfortable and don't feel bulky. This sweatshirt looks more expensive than it is and it will be perfect for casual wear. It is thicker and more durable than the typical sweatshirt with a feel very similar to the heavy-duty workwear sweatshirts I used to buy for him. The current price of $39.95 is very reasonable for this high quality sweatshirt, that I am sure will last for many seasons.

It's very soft and comfy. But it's sold as, heavy weight. Maybe in California but not below 50. I would consider it mid weight.

This runs smaller, so size up. It will shrink some anyway because it is cotton. Very soft, comfortable. VERY, very soft. So soft and comfortable that I am wearing it now even though it is in the 90's outside.... The color is beautiful and the fabric is mid-heavyweight. I expect to have this for many years to come. The softness of this will make it your favorite sweatshirt. If they had it it black, I would absolutely buy another!

This is by no means made from cheap material. This is a high quality hoodie. It looks great, is thick, and highly comfortable. This is a great value. Well worth the price. I ordered up since I wanted an oversized fit. I am 6 foot, 165 lbs, with a trim build. I normally wear a medium, but I went with a large for the oversized look. The hoodie hits upper thigh, about 6 inches below my waist. The material is typical hoodie material. I like how the interior of the hood is a waffle knit but i wish the material ran through the whole hoodie. It makes it look a little bit more expensive, as does the elevated USA lettering. The pocket is kangaroo style, going all the way through. One thing to be aware of is that this large hoodie fits me normally around the neck. So if you are a bigger person, it may be tight around the neck for you.
