This is a well made and attractive case that matches the retro styling of the Olympus OM-D E-M10 camera. I bought this case for the original E-M10 fitted with the non-pancake 14-42mm RII lens. It fits this combination perfectly. Th battery / SD card flap allows you to change battery and or SD card without removing the bottom of the case. The camera can be used with the main part of the case just hanging down, but this can also clip off, which is better if you are going to be using the camera for any length of time. All in all a good case that protects the camera, compliments the retro styling and enhances the portability of this little camera.

Top quality case - I bought the brown one and it looks smart and acts tough (protecting my camera). It's a perfect fit for my EM10 & prime lens - but as a moulded case, if you change lens it may not fit later .... Other than that it's lightweight and easy to carry around. As others have said it's not waterproof, but is fairly rugged otherwise. Future design would be improved if it could take into account location of sim card/connection and battery - as currently you have to dismantle/remove the whole case to get at them.

Bought for a recently purchased camera I was unsure about this item so decided to get it from warehouse as it was half price though I was warned it may have marks on it, though in reality most leather camera cases become marked quickly anyway. They item has arrived and is to be honest in excellent condition, it fits the camera very well and rear screen on the camera is still fully adjustable . Inside the case when its shut there is suitable padding to provide protection to the lens and screen it seems very well made and the button press stud fasteners work well with a reassuring snap shut. The section for the lens is adequate for the standard 14-42 lens working or closed. The wheel on the bottom of the case screws into the camera tightly and is secure. The brown leather material looks very realistic if its not leather, it looks like an old style camera case and all for £9 whats not to like!

Packaging is excellent, it comes in a lovely silver box, with a nice branded paper wrap to protect in transport from scuffs against the cardboard similar to how a pair of shoes is sent. Considering this is very similar construction to a pair of shoes it makes sense. Yes this doesn't feel like a cheap product - certainly is delivered in a premium way.Craftmanship of the form, curves is brilliant - seriously guys you've done an excellent job here. It fits the shape of EM10 to a tee. There is so much work that has been done. The battery / SD card door is really smart, allowing you to change both without removing. There recessed tripod mount is very nice too. Whoever added the finger cutout for lifting the LCD screen, deserves a raise. It's totally in the right spot and my finger just fell in that position the first time I used it. The removal of the top from the bottom is also lovely with the clasps on the bottom and you could easily whip it out the way to get a quick shot without any hassle.HOWEVER... it falls apart on one point and it's a glaringly silly, utterly stupid mistake which should have been rectified before mass-production. Removal of the top rips the eye piece off ...and has an opening (gap) which is large and could allow something to protrude into the EVF glass that it's there to protect.They have shaped the rear covering, which makes up the top, on a hinge rather than making it an all in one piece - this is what knocks off the eyepiece. To allow the hinge system to work they have cut an opening on the rear piece to extend over the EVF. As this actuates, when you remove, it unclips the EVF cover.It's a terrible flaw to what could be an absolutely excellent case. I don't usually leave reviews but I am, for this, as I hope the manufacture sorts this and lets me know. I'd buy an updated one in the future. Let's be honest it's never going to happen. The camera has been replaced by the Mk III and this camera is old tech.Very sad to be sending back but I can absolutely see losing the EVF cover, at sea, on the beach on above ground where you can't retrieve it as it pings off. The gap between the top and the rear flap makes it completely pointless.Another quick point is that the lens capacity is quite small, I'm sure it will fit the kit lens (as described) but for any other lens (I'm using a manual nifty fifty) it will be a tight squeeze.Oh and while I'm at it. MANUFACTURES IN CHINA = remove your logo from the outside of products. It's a lovely design with classic, vintage feel - I DO NOT want MEGA GEAR printed on the back in a font size that is way too modern and way ... way too big. I don't know why you don't get this. No one is looking at my camera case and wondering who made it - they would ask.Very close to being a bargain, perfect and something to write home about. Instead it's back to Amazon. Poor.3 stars only for the quality.

I am very happy with this purchase. It arrived fast and has nice quality. It looks good, I was actually stopped few times in the street and asked by random people where did i got this camera case. I love it, and take to all of my trips. It saved my camera once, when my backpack opened accidentally and camera fell on concrete floor. My heart stopped for those few seconds while i was opening case and checking if camera is ok. Thanks god no damage done! Only downside - it is not very comfy to use if you want to keep front cover attached while you taking picture. The best is to remove it while you use camera, and attached again when you stop filming or taking pictures.

Couldn’t get the base screwed on. And because bought as a gift no option to return.

I really like this. It fits really well over my camera & rather than publicise what camera I have, it keeps it nicely hidden whilst providing good coverage. Looks great and easy to use. Had to buy a different strap as the straps on this kept coming loose. Almost smashed my camera whilst riding a camel as the strap came apart but luckily managed to grab it before it hit the floor. But to be fair I may not have put the straps on properly so it could have been my own fault.

Case seems sturdy and fits the camera well. Certainly looks the part with my OM-D E-M10. Dropped a star because the strap is thin and plastic.

Die Tasche passt gut zur E-M10 Mark II mit M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 II R Objektiv. In einigen Rezensionen wird erwähnt die Tasche sei zu klein bzw. zu eng. Bei meinem Exemplar ist das nicht der Fall, sie sitzt straff aber passt akkurat. Wichtig: Die Schraube am Unterteil vollständig zudrehen, sodass kein Spiel bleibt. Dann passt die Tasche genau, selbst mit Filter und Schutzkappe am Objektiv.Eine Gegenlichtblende (oder gar ein längeres Objektiv) kann aber aber nicht verwendet werden, da muss man sich nach Alternativen umsehen (die dann freilich größer und schwerer sind).Obwohl das Material nur Kunstleder ist, fühlt es sich wertig an und sieht gut aus. Die Nähte sind sauber verarbeitet. Das Oberteil ist mit Drucknöpfen befestigt, man kann es also auch weg lassen und nur das Unterteil an der Kamera lassen. Die Klappe unten ermöglicht Zugriff auf Akku und Speicherkarte. Was sehr gut ist: Man kann sogar eine kleine Stativplatte mit montiertem Unterteil befestigen, das Gewinde ist durchgeführt.Der mitgelieferte Gurt ist ausreichend lang und in etwa mit dem Originalgurt vergleichbar, nichts besonderes aber zweckmäßig. Zusammenfassend: Für den Preis eine wunderbare Transportmöglichkeit für die kleine Olympus, wenn man möglichst wenig "schleppen" will.
