Great Picture Quality--Good Sound--Versatility of a Smart TV
This 27-inch TV Monitor is basically a tunerless smart TV. It can not be connected to an over-the-air antenna because it has no OTA tuner so if you're a city dweller and use an antenna this TV is not for you. But--users of antennas are in the minority today. For everyone else, this is a great little (27") TV. It is LED-backlit and It can be connected to your cable box or used with any wireless stick (Roku, Amazon, Apple, etc). It doesn't need any additional external box if you are happy with the included offerings. Picture is sharp and clear (1920x1080p resolution) and sound is better than other small TVs I've owned. The included remote is intuitive and comprehensive. Overall--a high-quality TV.I've only owned this TV for about s month

ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION - PICTURE/SOUND IS GREAT - COAX AND HDMI CONNECTION
Very pleased with this LG 27 inch. Well packed - arrived in perfect condition. Plugged it in - connected HDMI and coax cables - did menu setup - great HD picture and sound. The remote gives you many customizing options. The unit I received is tagged as assembled in Mexico in May/2022. It is new but of older technology. However, it is perfect for our kitchen TV.PS: Do not judge the photo as a good representation of the monitor quality - old, cheap camera.

Finding a non-smart TV under 40 inches that has FHD (1080p) is nearly impossible these days, so I was happy when I found this one. I use it in my bedroom with an indoor rabbit ear antenna to get free OTA TV broadcasts, and it does this very well. The picture quality is excellent and it has a very wide viewing angle due to the IPS display. I also appreciate the non-reflective screen, which allows me to view it with bright indoor lighting or sunlight coming through the windows. The sound quality is just OK, which is to be expected from its small downward facing speakers. I've had this TV for 8 months, and there have been no problems. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and would recommend it to someone who wants a good quality small basic non-smart TV.

Basic...With a Capital "B"!
*** This Review is for the model 27LP600B-P ***I needed to replace my aging 29 inch TV/monitor. Finding sizes between 24" and 32" has gotten difficult. This 27" LG is just what I was looking for. I needed to have both TV and computer monitor. Very impressive image quality. Sound quality is so-so, as are most units in this size range. I was rather surprised with the lack of available ports. Just TV cable, power connector and one HDMI! LG must have realized there are enough like me who don't need a whole back panel of connectors that will never be used. Not sure if this translates to a lower price, however. A headphone connection would have been nice (there is one and a USB connector marked for "service only"; I've never seen that before), but I can manage without it. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this model for those who don't need all the bells and whistles.

Love the Duality of it
This tv/monitor was a life sent for me. I use this as a second monitor for my laptop when I’m working from home. But, I can also use it as an outside tv when I’m barbecuing. You can download streaming apps right from the TV, or you can connect a streaming device, but it’s not necessary. I love the duality of this tv/monitor.

LG Designers failed on this one.
Bought this little LG TV for an motor home install and I just couldn't believe what I ran into. First of all, the mounting plate for my wall mount covered up the HDMI and Cable inputs in the back. There was plenty of room everywhere else in this area, yet they chose to put these inputs in an area where most mounting flanges would cover, (had to cut them off)…..Not only that, but there is a large area off to the side where a more traditional modern TV would have these things. There is a USB there (plugged in parallel to the screen), but for some reason they chose not to include the HDMI, which would have worked fine. I chose to use a extra range Roku stick (longer), so because it sticks straight out from the back, I had to cut a hole in the 'wall' that the mount is affixed to. Another reason to have the HDMI input parallel to the screen. The sadistic designer continued their assault on bargain price TV purchasers, as they chose to have the HDMI oriented so that the Roku power input was facing away from the USB. Now I had to notch out an area next to the hole in the wall so the power cord wouldn't bind up as the Roku stick slid through it. It seems that there was very little thought to the design of this TV, or maybe there was quite a bit, depending on the motivations of the LG designers??

The last of the Mohicans…
The last of the non-smart tv’s that can do double duty as a large monitor. I have great expectations for this tv monitor. Wife has an old LG TV she won in a contest 15 years ago, ant it won’t die. I have a seven year old LG plasma 50” TV that still has a great picture, and the screen hasn’t had any burn in issues that plagued some brands. Still going strong. So, hope springs eternal. The picture was good out of the box, haven’t needed to tweak anything yet, may check if any of the home theater sites have any suggestions, but there hasn’t really been the need. The sound is what you’d expect from a skinny tv set- so there may be a sound bar, or a couple of mini line arrays in the future…

If you're looking for a pure WHITE tv, this is not it!!!
Tv and picture quality is pretty good. Even the sound quality is pretty decent! I was initally planning to put this tv in my bedroom which is small so I didn't need a lot of sound bass. But I returned this tv because it isn't pure white. It's more of an ivory/off-white which was disappointing. For instance, if you have bright white furniture from Ikea, this tv will clash and give off some "ugliness" against your pure white furnture.
