Total breakthrough
Iโve been allergic to Hair Dye for many years now . my face and eyes would swell to the point I could see , my scalp would be completely stripped of skin and and would weep so Iโve had to stay away from dying my hair , Ive researched many different products claiming to be gentle or organic but after reading the ingredients on the boxes discovered they still have a chemical called PPD in themThis for me is the culprit of my allergy !!So I when I found Itโs Pure and discovered that it was free from PPD I thought Iโd give it a try ๐I did a patch test in 2 areas and waited a week to see if I had any reactionsTo my delight no reactions at all ๐So I went ahead and applied the dye itโs a bit messy but so worth it !!Iโm 49 and had Iโd say 60% grey itโs covered all my grey and given me my confidence back it looks so beautiful and shiny as well I choose The colour chestnut and I couldnโt be happier ๐So for anyone else out there who has suffered like me give this a try make sure you do a patch test first tho

Gorgeous Natural Chestnut Colour, Covered Greys, Conditioned and Thickened Fragile Hair,
This is an excellent product. I loved the chestnut colour which I left on for three hours to ensure the depth, as per the guidelines. It covered my greys and they turned a lighter version of chestnut, which enhanced the look. I have very fine mid-shoulder length hair and only used half the packet. I am losing hair quite a lot, it is porous, and I wanted a more natural way to colour my hair with a rich colour that would cover greys. My hair was getting to be in terrible condition despite using non chemical natural products...it was previously becoming like straw. After using this product my hair has become softer again, and slightly thicker. Of course, it will depend on your individual hair and previous chemical/natural colours but I was prepared to take the risk and as I can't risk chemically dying my fragile hair. If the colour hadn't been good, I would just not use it again. I was delighted with the end result! It certainly hasn't harmed my fragile hair. It feels softer, and thicker. The photos featured on Amazon by other customers are true to life. There was more than ample coverage, so a packet did twice the job for me. Was it messy? I didn't find it any more messy than normal hair colours. I used black clothing and a towel and kept an eye out for drips while I applied it in the bathroom. I rinsed any drips as I saw them and there was no staining. The instructions are easy to follow. Put on DRY CLEAN HAIR. Some blogs mention adding oils, yoghurt, egg to henna hair colour mixtures, it is worth researching to see what may enhance the colour and condition further. The smell didn't bother me anymore than the smell of cut grass. The colour has stayed on for 6 weeks so far. I may enrich it soon just to lift it back to a deeper warm chestnut, but it has faded in a flattering way, WITHOUT the 'orange hair' look. I have just ordered three more packets as I think the product is brilliant and I am delighted I have found an easy alternative that may enhance my fragile hair condition further over time, and certainly, not cause it to become damaged in the process of wanting to enrich the colour and cover the grey patches.

Highly recommend effective product
I didn't bother with a strand test as don't tend to react much to product ingredients. I had used conditioner previously but it didnt seem to make any difference to the product bonding to the hair. I mixed it up in a yogurt pot and applied it to parted hair with a long handled teaspoon. Easy to do. Massaged it in and then sat for two hours with the shower cap covering it. Rinsing in the shower took a while. It needed LOTS of rinsing but the splashes did not stain. Everything wiped clean very easily. I chose chestnut. There were no orange patches as I feared might happen. No streaks. Just an even colour all over. Smells a bit like a barn full of old straw. Not great. But end result is very good and I will now only use this natural prodect. I only used one sachet as I have short hair so for me it is cheaper than using the naturtint I used before. I highly recommend.

This product isn't as easy to apply as normal hair colours (is is messy
I have avoided henna type products in the past as they have always been too messy, or too red, but as I have now developed an intolerance to sodium metabisulphite, I have had to look at other options than permanent and semi-permanent hair colourants. This product isn't as easy to apply as normal hair colours (is is messy, a bit smelly, and is on your hair for up to 3 hours) and I did have to enlist my husband's help to do the back for me, but I have been amazed with the results. I am 80% grey, and had a good 2" growth when I tried this colour, and it matched in beautifully. I applied it only to the roots, and it covered the grey completely, and is still covering it 6 washes later. I have had several comments about the shininess of my hair and how it has added several shades of colour, making it look like it has been highlighted. I am so pleased with the results, I have ordered my next box ready to apply as soon as this starts washing out fully. I did do the patch and strand tests first, and would recommend anyone does the same, but hopefully I have found a colour I can stick with, and being 100% organic, don't have to worry about any adverse reactions on application. Brilliant!

Very pleased to recommend
Having read the reviews as well as the instructions, I used half a sachet (1/4 of total product) despite having longish hair. I was very pleased with the result. It is messier to use than standard damaging diy products and most importantly, no forever chemicals (PFAS).I have 3 more applications so this is very good value as well as being safe. The photos are before and after.
