Cleans & Polishes Alloy Wheel Rims & Stainless Steel Exhausts
I had used a well known brand of chrome cleaner & polish on the unlacquered alloy wheels of my Piaggio MP3 scooter, but the tube ran out before I finished the job. I have used countless tubes of this product for 50 years and have never used anything else, having believed that it was the best. I decided to try another product, to compare the 2 and see if I could do the job with less elbow grease in a shorter time. I read various reviews of products for cleaning & polishing chrome, alloy & stainless steel and I chose Peek 33700 as being the most suitable for my requirements. I opened the tin, to see a light blue coloured, thin paste, which did not feel at all abrasive - not going well, so far, I thought. Well, this was the only polish that I had, so I put some on a damp cloth and started rubbing. In a few minutes, with several dabs of the cloth in the paste, the cloth turned black and the alloy started to shine. I finished all 3 wheels and looked at the results of my afternoon's work. To be honest, I didn't think that there was any visible difference between the results of the 2 products or that either product took less time or effort to achieve this. I then used the Peek 33700 on the stainless steel silencer & exhaust pipe. In a very short time, the metal was gleaming, the polish having removed all the surface discolouring and tarnishing. The wheels could do with another cleaning & polishing session, as the corrosion has not been completely removed. Pros - produces a good shine, doesn't damage the alloy wheel and a 250ml tin will last a long time, even with my extravagant use. Cons - none that I can think of. I can recommend this product's use on stainless steel and alloy - I was advised by a mechanic friend to first attack the alloy with very fine wet & dry paper, to remove the surface corrosion, before using the paste. I have to admit that I didn't feel very confident taking his advice and I have given myself more work, but the results have exceeded my expectations. A great product, in my opinion.

Immediate results
Amazon delivered 3 items in very good condition the day after I ordered them, even though I didn't use Amazon Prime. The 'Peek compound' was in a tin sealed in a plastic coating - this was also intact and easy to remove. I would say, if you have any issues with your hands/fingers (e.g. arthritis) this may not be the product for you. Opening the tin is similar to varnish/house paint as it requires you to lever the lid off. I used a spoon handle, but anything sturdy will do - I'd avoid scissors though!! Although other reviewers noted the product had a chemical smell - which it does. I didn't notice it once I began cleaning. What surprised me was its colour, blue - unexpected, rather nice. 'Peek Compound' is very easy to use, I either dipped a cloth in it, or dipped the actual item in it. It does a great job at cleaning - immediate results, and it's not greasy. There's plenty of it as well. As far as I can tell there is only one other minor negative. 'Peek Compound' doesn't clean small or difficult to reach areas very easily - that may also be due to my big fingers of course. Try other products such as foam, dips, or a combination of products which suit your requirements. Cotton buds dipped in 'Peek Compond' may work, but I didn't try that so can't confirm it. In my photo's I cleaned an old copper coin (yes I know your not supposed to do this). I used a sonic cleaner (rubbish), then Peek Compound (great results), and finally used the drill buffers (almost as good as new). I'm a miser, always buy the cheaper cleaning options first, saves wasting money. I use friends/family and website reviews, but check they're real not adverts. 'Peek' is also VERY easy to clean up afterwards. Washing up liquid and a clean cloth did it for me. I recommend washing whatever you are cleaning in mild soapy water after using 'Peek Compound', to remove any hidden residue. Especially if you are going to buff the item with a drill attachment polishing kit. Saves the drill bit getting covered in cleaning compound. Finally, yes - I would recommend 'Peek Compound', but use other products with it if they are delicate or have tricky areas to reach.

Good cloth. Only comes as One, not Two
I have bought the cloth so I could polish the stainless steel bezel of my iPhone XS. Must say, works fantastically. Not on it's own however. I did also use "Peek" (Steel/Ceramic polishing paste) Great combination. The bezel of my iPhone looks brand new after buffing for a minute or so using very little force. Sadly, though, I have only received 1 cloth of the 2 advertised. Some rather misleading item description here. I have contacted Amazon about this. Shortly after, I have been sent a replacement which also arrived as one instead of two cloths. In the end, I have ended up with two of the same cloth(which is the larger one from the picture in the item's description) and a partial refund. Well hey, at least it works.

Results limited only by one's own skill
Peek is an excellent final polish agent, puts the gloss back on many surfaces. It also smells like it has some ammonia and can lift some grease, so it is excellent on stainless steel sink-tops and car bright-work. For best results be generous with it, add water to carry away detritus and stop it drying out and rinse polishing cloth frequently. I only had one use, at first. After seeing how well it works, other applications are popping up. My rather nice old non-stick stainless steel omelette pan from JL was losing its non-stick, so power drill application of wire brushes took the rest off, and some of the surface etch. Then by hand, successively finer wet and dry paper and plenty of water; 180 grit, 240 grit, 400 grit, 600 grit, 800 grit, 1000 grit and then polished off by this Peek. Lack of time and patience means I've not achieved a mirror finish on what had been a dull matte grey etched surface to key the non-stick, but a blind man would be glad to see it, and being stainless steel it still doesn't stick. I've given the same treatment to a similar vintage milk-pan, and added the before and after pics

First Time Using a Metal Polish
I know this isn't the most exciting topic but I have to say i was fairly excited to see how amazingly well PEEK polished some old silver coins of mine. It has worked brilliantly on the old tools I am refurbishing. I can't compare this to any other product as this is the only one I have used to clean metal. There is plenty of contents and I expect it to last a long time. It is also very easy to use, use a rag or brush to use it and another rag to clean and polish - make sure you read the instructions about health and safety before proceeding to use it.

Didn't do enough for stainless steel sink
Used to clean stainless steel sink with heavy limescale staining. It removed the limescale but didn't restore the normal stainless steel lustre. Also didn't protect the return of the limescale - which is what I hoped for in the 'protect' claim.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant.
Brilliant in every sense of the word. Works brilliantly in removing long term tarnish, resulting in a brilliant ,like new, shine. I have a lot of brass items in my fire place and other ornaments uncleaned for years. This stuff cleaned off years of tarnish, resulting in a brilliant shine.

Absolutely the best Silver Polish
I collect vintage silver (mostly plated...) items, I have tried all of the major polishes over the years (Wright's, Hagerty's etc.) Peek is by far and away the best product I have ever used to remove tarnish and make my pieces shine. In just a few minutes, it removed discolourations that I have tried for years to fix with other creams. A tiny amount goes a very long way, and it leaves everything looking beautiful and shiny. I am a customer for life.

I Use This for my Old Pyrex I also Use for my Fifth Wheel Now
This Works Amazing for Pyrex , so when I Saw a Fiberglass Boat on the Container I thought what else can I use to Clean my camper other than Gel Gloss which does not work on my Camper by the way , So I gave it a Shot and was Completely Amazed I have Provided Pics to Show the Difference I Hope this Helps Someone that is Looking to Rejuvenate the Exterior of their Fifth Wheel with Minimal Effort and when I say that I mean NO BUFFING ..... SERIOUSLY The Pics show what was done in a few Minutes by hand with a Cloth to Apply and Scrub with and a Clean Rag to Wipe Off 1st Pic shows the Front I had done all but the Storage door to show how it it my brighter with lots of Shine 2nd Pic shows another Storage door that has been done but all around it is Dull while the Door has a High Shine , Last Pic is a Portion on the Side where you can Actually see the Camper parked next door in the highly reflective shine we now have , My Husband was at work when I did my trial test he seriously did not believe what he saw so he did a video chat to see for himself , he said I am going to use the buffer with this but when he actually used the Product himself on the camper he said we will not be needing a buffer after all , because it works as soon as you put it on it literally cuts through years of Oxidation in Minutes ,I Hope this Helps Someone out there because when I was searching all I kept finding is the Normal Marine or Camper Stuff but I will tell you this Stuff is Amazing
