Dutch Oven Boxed Set

If you are in to camping or the outdoors then this is for you. It is definitely not for those who like to go light but excellent for a base camp. I bought a tripod to accompany this and the Dutch oven, skillet and pan are all cast iron and should lat for years.One tip, the box comes unfinished but a lick or exterior varnish will have it waterproof in no time at all. It has that cowboy western feel to it and the box will also be able to accommodate cooking utensils and condiments, overall am very pleased with it and it is one of those products that your grandchildren will be using.Definitely a good buy.

Great set for outdoor cooking on an open fire. the pot is OK if your cooking for four or baking a small loaf/cake. Recommend reading up on the care of cast iron ware as we left the griddle out overnight and it had rust spots by the morning (all my fault).

Really nice set. The dutch oven is slightly thinner metal than I was expecting, but still seems decent. For some reason they only decided to attach the left hinge to the box so it opens diagonally and flops about rather than pivoting up and down. That's a shame as it is a nice box, but overall I am happy with this set.

Nothing beats cast iron pots and pans for cooking over an open fire.....we bought the set as it was such a great deal, and glad we did as the griddle is fab for bacon and the frying pan for eggs....good quality item

Have used when wild camping, great just ensure you clean properly and wipe with vegetable oil before putting away

Great value for money, have used the Dutch oven a number of times with great success, far better than using a BBQ! You can create a meal for 4 people using the oven, so easy will be using it more in the future.

Very nice. I come from Kenya where we have a practice of cooking outdoors for leisure. Although this is somewhat of a different style of outdoor cooking, it compliments the lifestyle perfectly. A very nice kit for a family. I was able to cook a "Karoga" chicken with very little coal - as the cast iron took on the heat well.
