Heavy Duty Tripod & 4 Litre Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot Camp Fire Cooking Camping

I used two ovens (one tripod) on girl guiding ranger camp, I cooked cakes in them and it went well!The chain was not in the initial delivery but it was sent out to me separately quickly after I contacted seller.I seasoned the oven before use, I don't think you have to but I think it was worth it. Even with that the writing around the lid seems to have suffered a bit after first use but I have oiled it up again before storage until the next camp. The pots themselves are not marked at all from first use so they look like they will last to get money's worth out of themThe tripod has a storage bag. it is not the best tripod I have seen with the legs not being height adjustable but it was fine for what I needed and it also marked the fire well so kept the girls off it.The dutch oven storage bag I think is a must, it just made carting them across the field so much easier and now it is in storage I don't know how I would have stored it without it.I am happy with these. I had 2 4L pots for cakes for a camp of 10 people. I think it was better doing 2 smaller ones than trying to do one big one.

Bought as a Christmas present for my son who is into Larping. Gives a nice authentic feel to outdoor cooking at his events. Found it cheaper to buy the pot and tripod together on Amazon. Excellent heavy cast iron pot that should last for years, good delivery service, would recommend.

Very happy with the purchase. Was bought as a present for my husband. The actual oven is well made and comes already preseasoned, which was great (none of the food got stuck to it when we cooked for the first time). Tripod is nothing fancy but works. Will consider buying a bigger one, as this one can only take a smaller sized chicken. Overall very pleased, as this is a first dutch oven we own.

Bought for my son-in-law but unfortunately I had to return it because he was given exactly the same thing by my daughter!!! Next year I will be checking with her before buying him a Christmas present! I know he likes it and has made several tasty meals for his family, in the garden and while camping. Sturdy and long lasting.

Excellent product which is very well made and was delivered really quickly too. I did have to contact the seller as the chain was missing from the package however they were brilliant in their quick response and the chain was delivered the very next day. Couldn't be happier with this and is already a talking point camping!

This cast iron pot is wonderful, all the details were correct. We took this camping and used it cook curry answer stew, it was just perfect for we wanted and it looks pretty cool too.

Used twice this last weekend away camping. Simple to set up and cooked the meals to perfection. Lid fitted nicely and straightforward to clean. Very pleased with it.

When opening the package I was very impressed with the quality and weight of the pan. Very sturdy and heavy with a nice finish. The tripod is also well finished and sturdy and the pre-assembled hinge at the top means set up is as easy as possible as no assembly is required. The pot hangs level and is easy to cook with. I've seen the aluminium ones, but for me the weight and rustic charm of cast iron is always going to win.Pot and tripod was delivered before I'd even got the dispatch confirmation so top marks for that!
