New BalanceMen's Fresh Foam X 1080 V12 Running Shoe

This is my favorite shoe. $150 is a lot, but it's my favorite overall shoe--soft heal, great support, perfect construction, looks great!

I have never worn a more comfortable shoe. These hold up well to abuse, and feel fantastic. I absolutely love using these for the gym, or running. Every day use feels like walking on clouds. I love New Balance, and they hit a home run with these shoes. They fit as expected, so order true to size. They won't break down quickly like other shoes, and look nice for casual, and even a dressier casual.

I’ve ordered several of these shoes and really liked them. Seems like every time I find a pair of new balance that I like they quit making them. I bought some extras to put up in the closet. They’re a little pricey, but they last a while and again are extremely comfortable. I’ve got bad feet, but of course you don’t care about that. I really don’t even know why I brought it up. Oh yeah, I was reviewing the shoes.

I took these kicks for a testiepooh myself, prior to passing them on to my son. They're really comfy, kinda like jogging' in the clouds, that is if you can handle the altitude without crying' the blues. Unfortunately, even these stylish, ultralight shoes couldn't convince Eli that track is fun. After two wears, they lay closeted, sulking in darkness with his world record aspirations. The shoes could've taken this kid places... Darn. If you like handsome, lightweight, ultra comfy walking or jogging, cobweb collecting, aspiration drowning shoes, these are the ones to buy. I have a discount on some used ones if you want!

Fit = When first tried on, the left show was a little tighter than the right. Since I had meticulously measured my feet using a Brannock template, and ordered accordingly, this presented a bit of a mystery. So I measured the shoe widths and, despite them both being labelled correctly, found the fabric top on the left shoe to be slightly narrower than the right (by about 1/8th of an inch). Thankfully there was enough stretch in the fabric that after only a few days pounding on the concrete floor of my workplace, the left shoe had eased to be as comfortable as the right, and with no signs of tightness or rubbing. So 'fit as expected' Yes, but with a cautionary tale.Comfort = Totally. The excellent shock absorbency is a godsend.Support = The arch shape does provide a gentle support without being too rigid, which is a plus, but the overall softness of the shoe provides little resistance to the rolling gait of over-pronation, contrary to what the sales literature infers. Hence after a long day, the ankles do start to tire. In fairness, since my over-pronation is 'medical grade' it may be that these are not intended for that level of support.Overall verdict = Be aware of potential issues with the fit. It's essential to measure your feet using a Brannock template before ordering, especially when considering width fitting. For comfort, I can't fault them. For Support, I'd say they are fine for normal footed people, and even those whose over-pronation is slight to moderate, but worse pronation than that, and I'd say they will do for most tasks or fitness regimes, but be aware that ankles may tire after extended periods of wearing, e.g. eight hours or more.

I’ve had plantar fasciitis and doc told me to keep using new balance which has kept my feet in good shape, no more fasciitis going into a year now. Good cushion, arch support, and size is spot on.

This is by far the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned. I’m a bigger guy with wide feet and it fit perfectly. Did a two mile yesterday and I was flying through the first mile. I had to order an another.

The New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080 V12 are the best shoes I’ve ever owned. Just bought my second pair. They are incredibly comfortable. And look amazing too. Well worth it!

The runners didn't fit and were sent back.Poor packaging however. The runners came in a plastic bag no manufacturers box!
