Product Description Keep your sex toys away from prying eyes with the ultimate box of tricks Anyone who's ever kept a sex toy in an unlocked drawer or in a box under the bed will understand that feeling of dread when a visitor enters the bedroom or over inquisitive children want to play hide and seek. None of us want to have the "It's an..errr..electric ear cleaner..." conversation or to have to deal with the knowing looks and knowledge that our most private possessions will now be the subject of gossip, so this latest product from Buzz Pinky and their partners Lockabox is the perfect way to avoid any embarrassing moments. Beautifully crafted from high quality polycarbonate plastic (the same stuff that police riot sheets are made from!), this opaque black Lockabox is a discreet home for all your vibrating toys and their friends. But it's way more than just a little black box- cleverly designed locator pins and sockets allow for multiple boxes to be stacked together, removable shelves keep things nice and tidy and airflow holes mean your toys will stay fresh and hygienic- way better for you than gathering dust at the bottom of a drawer. Shatterproof, robust and completely secure, the Lockabox comes with a changeable code so you can choose your own password. No more worrying about dildos falling out of cupboards or Great Aunt Nora having a heart attack when she's staying for the weekend. The only person who ever needs to know what's inside this little box of wonders is you. Perfect! L 29.5 cm (31 cm total including door lock handle) W 21 cm H 17 cm

Too small, too weak and too flimsy. (Ahem.)
I got this to put things like my passport and other important papers in to at home. Undfortunately the box is pretty flimsy and crappy. It is also very light meaning it can easily be snagged and put in a bag. I didn't see an obvious method of attaching it to the wall or floor either. The lock looks like it would cave under a couple of hammer strikes. Finally - I am not sure it would be useful for its supposed purpose as there is no way a good size (12 inches-plus) dildo and/or strap-on could fit in there. You would struggle to get much in it at all - where am I supposed to put the whips or specially-made chains for suspending fat chicks over the bed? I'm just not seeing it all fitting in (that's what she said).

Astonishingly unsuited to advertised purpose
Hard to imagine a product where the reality is so far from the adverting and packaging. What you get is a plastic box made of hard plastic with a lockable door at one end and vent holes down the sides. If asked, I'd have said it was a travel box for a pet rat.The finishing is poor with mould lines in the plastic. The 'lock' is purely to keep the honest out; the plastic flexes so much a twist with a knife would pop the door open. It's also too big to be kept in most chest-of-drawers but could be OK on a shelf in the wardrobe. Being hard plastic with no lining, anything you put in will clatter about. Also there are no feet, other than moulded dimples in the plastic, so it easily slides about on polished or glass surfaces.Unless you do have a pet rat, I'm struggling to think of any reason why you'd want this, especially at the ridiculous price.

Great little box for food at uni, safe storage of medicines etc.
Perfect for keeping milk and other food items in in the fridge. I stashed the embarrassing box for this in the recycling bin (inside out!) and it's as good as the usual Lockabox that I'd already decided I needed to keep uni "friends" from supplementing their food stocks at my expense. I don't mind a dash of milk here and there but it's REALLY annoying when you come back to find NONE left! The box is, as far as I can tell, exactly the same as the standard one but a bit cheaper. I presume it's just the marketing department looking at ways to rebrand the same product to appeal to differing customer bases. Fair enough but I can't help thinking that there must be a limited market for people thinking that they need a safe box for sex toys - isn't that what our dungeons are for after all ;-) Also, if I'd found a largish black box which had a lock on it in my parents' room, I would have been ten times more interested in finding out what it was for....Back to the box review - it's very strong, much sturdier than appears at first sight. I wouldn't stand on it, just in case, but it looks as if you could. It can withstand freezer temeperature so is obviously happy in a fridge. Despite its strength it is lightweight, again a plus point for the fridge shelf. It's easy to add your own code to open it, simply open the door and slide the metal tab on the inside of the lock mechanism from A to B. After setting your desired code you slide the metal tab back to A again. It has air holes so food inside will not sweat and there is a shallow rim around the bottom so small amounts of spilled liquids would be contained within and not run out over your shelf, cupboard, fridge or whatever. It is not intended to be a safe obviously and you wouldn't use this to securely stash cash or any valuables. Clearly a thief would simply pick it up and walk away with it. I'm afraid you'll have to spend more if this is what you need. It really is ideal for deterring your "innocent thief" though such as the milk-snatcher!I conclude by conceding that you could also use it for the purposes suggested in this listing but I'm not convinced for the reasons that, as stated, a largish black box might invite closer inspection and this would not be too difficult, given the airholes which allow one to have a good idea of the contents anyway.

It's a box that locks
Wow, I can’t believe the size of this thing, it’s certainly not discreet! In cms it’s about 29 x 21 x 17 (LxBxH) and a bit ungainly looking and if you’re keeping it in a bedside drawer then there won’t be much room for anything else in there. From the pics it looks like hinges running down the sides but they’re not they’re just air holes. And I know it’s made from a type of plastic (impact resistant polycarbonate, apparently riot shield material – you must really want to keep your ‘toys’ safe) it feels and sounds quite tinny. In reality, this utilitarian lockable box could be used for storing anything you don’t want anyone having casual access to, whether that be private papers, medicines, fluffy handcuffs etc.… it appears to be just the standard Lockabox which this time is being marketed as a ‘keep your intimate toys hidden’ box. The packaging is a bit OTT though… and invites one to think the contents must be a starter pack for a sex party… but it’s not, just a boring ol’ empty Lockabox. There are shelf inserts you can buy on Amazon in the Lockabox range which may increase the usability of the product. The PIN for the lock is easy to change; just slide the tab inside the box from position A to B, tumble the digits to whatever number you want, then move the tab back from B to A and job done… you have a new PIN code.
