However, I don't see why not. **Q: Does this help reduce irritation from insect bites?** A: I'm not sure as I use it on a rash but it does work well on that irritation/itchiness and sooths it amazingly well but not sure of it takes the sting away from insect bites. **Q: Is this good for sunburn?** A: It would help to soothe sunburn. I have used Neslons Calendula on myself on numerous occasions and also on my pets, especially a rabbit which developed a tiny bald patch on its shoulder. I rub a spot of Nelsons Calendular cream, and the next day, the hair starts to regrow. An old horse of mine rubbed her face one morning on the stable and had rubbed it quite sore. As soon as I saw it, I put a little of the cream on the rubbed parts and it must have stopped the itching in its tracks. The next day, the hair already started to regrow, and in a day or two, it had completely healed.
