i like how comfy it is and how well built it is however the price is too much and they can optimize the price better.

Works well and is very light weight. I wore eyeglasses before and they got foggy with my sweat during hot days working in the yard. The eye glass frame was also uncomfortable on my nose bridge and behind my years after half an hour of wearing. This gadget is comfortable to wear under my garden hat. On the day my allergy kicks in when gardening, I can wear a mouth mask with it and still be able to breath and see well. I like the fact that the package includes two clear face guards instead of one. Important note: make sure to peel the protections off on BOTH sides of the face guard (one side has clear protection layer and the other side has a light aqua layer). If you only peel off the aqua one, the face guard will remain a little blurry.

I have been a fabricator and Tech, an engineer on the shop floor and on site daily, and a life long deep DIYer for 60 plus years. Work hands-on auto, metal, woodworking, electrical, carpentry, chainsaw, you name it has been on my face and beard. I have used OSHA rated eye protection for most of my life - and for the big stuff like grinding or auto or machining or even weed whacking, this one is by far the best face shield I have ever used. Thick, good fit, great view, and great eyeglass clearance. Obviously, it's not for some things - if I were painting or mixing, I would use a paint-med shield and toss it after use. But they don't stop the broken grinder wheel pinging off the plastic or arc metal or the serious flying stuff. This is a serious mask for serious work. It won't last forever, but I haven't had a scratch yet. On all my shields, when I look at my shield and see the damage that says replace me - that damage stopped at the shield - better it than me. Now, I don't grab the shield part with my grit-filled glove to lift it, like we don't do to any shield plastic, and I only clean it with a soft shot of air, so that helps. Very good shield.

There are A LOT of shields on the market. I needed to purchase one that would be quick to put on, affordable, comfortable, adjustable, could be sanitized well, and I was looking for one that flipped upwards so I would not have to take off my entire shield to drink or eat. I read the reviews prior to my purchase and so many people said they couldn't get the protective film off. I am happy to have taken the gamble despite the complaints...It just takes a little effort because it the protective plastic is so tightly attached to the shield portion. I applaud the makers because it meant my shield would not come all busted and scratched out of the packaging. Final note here: the covering WILL come off if you just scratch it a bit in the corners to make blue plastic scrunch up a bit, this creates folds you can grasp with finger tips to pull and remove the plastic entirely. Remember its on both sides. You might scratch the plastic shield itself when using friction to bunch up the protective layers... but this is why I say pick a corner. A few discrete scratches don't matter because its going to get beat up anyways from wearing all the time.. and it comes with a back of shield too. Assembly is easy. Honestly have ZERO complaints here. 2 shields, 2 screws, and headpiece...I did notice my little plastic snaps on the end of the adjustable ropes of the headpiece where not perfect looking upon arrival. One was actually in the amazon packaging not attached upon opening of package. However, I just clipped it back on in .05 ms. The snaps just prevent the ropes from slipping out of the adjustable button above so that the shield is snug as a bug in a rug. My snaps were also not uniform looking, one seems a bit warped. I thought more about it and its like.. who cares, its not perfect looking and doesn't need to be.. plus, even if I had no snaps the shield would function perfectly. So if you are someone like me who might get hung-up on small details because you want your money to be worth spending, try your best to look past these small defects please!! The mask is amazing. It functions perfectly. Wore it for hours in addition to two face masks and I didn't even have any markings on my forehead!! I was shocked by this! Whenever I needed my drink or a snack/meal I would wash/sanitize my hands then lightly push up on the sides of the shield, and sanitize hands again before pushing back down. To do this well, leave the screws slightly loose, almost completely tightened but not quite, this will allow you to lift shield up or push back down without having to touch the screws beforehand every time. Anyways! Longwinded post here. Just purchase the mask!
