Life leverage is a very Promising read!
I am an individual who doesn't (didn't) often read. I never had faith in books that promised you success and happiness and all that nonsense, but life leverage is a special book. Life leverage is a all about saving time, maximizing output while reducing stress and the so called "necessity" of working yourself ragged. I read the book on holiday and it was a brilliant read. Rob is insightful, knowledgeable and to the point. I am making changes in my life now, going entirely by the book and things are already getting better. It's not a book that will magically change your life, it's a book that shows you the successful strategies, mentalities and work-flows of life that will boost your ability, leisure time and career. If you want to make change in your life, this book will get the ball rolling. After reading, it's like someone took the box off my head and opened my mind to a whole new spiel of possibilities. I have new books to read, new connections to make and I have the free starter kit to change the way I approach "life". I'd like to Thank Rob for his book, it was incredibly helpful and has (more than anything) opened my mind to greater possibilities, instead of just assuming autonomously that I will just about get through life. It opened my eyes so that I can see that my potential success is out there and ready to find.

Why you'll never get rich working ... and what Richard Branson knows that you don't !!
A very interesting book that suggests a "lifestyle rethink", (and one that I entirely agree with, even if at present I'm only classed as a 'Government Statistic') That said, it's not something that EVERYBODY could use, else nothing would ever get done! It's basically a look at the "You Won't Get Rich Digging Someone Else's Ditch" paradigm. It shows why the Richard Branson's / Lord Sugar / Rob Moore's of this World get rich, and why some remain as "wage slaves". The answer of course is not to give up your time in return for money. (When you think about it, even high rollers are "giving up their time" in exchange for money) What it suggests is that you get others to do the tasks for you, freeing your time to do as YOU want.(And no, not the idyllic sitting on a sunny beach somewhere!) One point I don't agree with is that free time / spare time should not be spent relaxing ... or being "unproductive".It suggests perhaps read a biography whilst having your hair cut, listen to audio books whilst driving to work. In otherwords, push, push, push all the time. Go on holiday? Tie it in with a business meeting, and keep up to date with the office via your laptop. That's being a slave to the business. It also suggests you work at what you enjoy. As actress Lauri Brett (Jane Beale in "EastEnders") said: "Do a job you love, and you'll never work again" So, in a nutshell, find something that you would happily work at for 12hrs a day, 7 days a week, that can also be 'sub contracted' to others to do majority of the work, and work on YOUR terms rather than let "Work" dictate you should 9 - 5 40hrs a week. And be free to do WHAT you want, WHEN you want. After all, working 8hrs at £10/hour, you've made £80. A business wouldn't be doing very well if it made £80 a day, (again: figure-head at top reaping rewards, workers doing the actual tasks) Speaking personally, (I said I agree with this ideology) although officially 'unemployed', I "work" 12hrs a day developing websites and utilities that will hopefully "bring home the bacon" one day. (That's another aspect the book covers: Put in the work NOW so you can reap the benefits later). If I don't feel like working on the PC, I might continue building a photobooth project - which others will operate on a day to day basis - or build a piece of equiptment for my video business. And once I get going, I have business manuals to promote, a photography venture to get off the ground, create training videos etc, run a multi video camera set up locally ... The idea of doing the same thing for 40hrs a week drive me crackers. That said, to "earn" my £76 a week JSA to JUST cover the bills, I HAVE to be applying for jobs. So I look out for part time roles so I can eventually say 'bye-bye' to JSA and devote rest of time to my projects. As Rob says: "Put in the work NOW to reap the benefits later" Overall, a good read. It also blows the myth of "Time Management", and says what that this is really "Life Management"; do you spend all day decorating the lounge which won't earn you anything, or do you spend 4hrs earning some money, and 4hrs in the afternoon doing the decorating? Do you get someone else to decorate so you have more time to earn more? Do you go and get a haircut now because you're at a loose end, or do you do it tomorrow when you're seeing the bank manager in town anyway? As I said at the beginning, it's not for everyone, especially those who believe the only way to make money is to do more overtime, (and thus pay more taxes). It's for the few who feel there are other options rather than being paid hourly for your time.

A useful distillation of many modern schools of thought about personal and business success.
The book is broken into easy to understand sections and chunks. Unlike some books in this space which can be too airy-fairy for some tastes ( think Deepak Chopra ) – too out of date (think Napoleon Hill) or just too lop-sided this book has a useful balance of researched fact, case study, and psychological theory. It covers both how to get the best out of running a business from start up to £xM turnover level, whilst at the same time organizing your personal life so you can still have family/friend time. It also dispels some of the myths around “work / life balance” (read the book!) My only criticism would be that there are quite a lot of acronyms bandied around and it could have done with a glossary.

Forget the 4 hour work week!
This book has changed my way of thinking. It my be a catchy headline, but thats not the point. In my quest to become a better business owner and entrepreneur, I'm constantly looking at books, mentors and specific knowledge where I can learn, adapt and grow. if you've ever been to see Rob speak, this book is a reminiscent of him grabbing you by the hair, shaking you, and saying, 'you have to leverage. Leverage. Leverage baby'! The concept of working less 'in' my business, automating my workflow and freeing up lots of time is something which I've always struggled to let go, so the thought of slowing down the pace of my hectic busy life sounded very appealing. While I was sceptical, the whole book is full of real life nuggets where I could eliminate 80% of my work time to less or low priority or tasks which could easily be outsourced, or put on the 'to do list'. Also these tips work! Within 1 hour in, I couldn't put the book down. It completely changed my perspective on how much time I wasted, not invested even though I consider myself to be very efficient. I'm already planning how I will handle my meetings, manage my managers & future follow-ups. This book is about creating the ideal infrastructure & using the time to serve you 'now' rather than the other way around. I particularly loved the section on email management, as this is something which I'm struggling to let go which takes over my life at times. This section is not about a simple auto-response where you write 'Thank you for the email, here are the most FAQ's you can read which will probably answer your email' No. This section is extreme and provides you with a step-by-step blueprint. Rob embraces entrepreneurship and uses his personal life learnings on building many successful businesses to show you how to automate your work, simplify your life, cutting down on any distractions, noise, interruptions to use your time to achieve something more meaningful. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Could be Revolutionary
This book is going to be a complete revelation to some people. To others, it may be a confirmation of what they already know or believe. Either way, I would say that anybody reading this book will be able to take something positive from it. This is not some airy fairy, pie in the sky, type of book that would have you sitting in a darkened room with candles visualising a brighter future to the sound of whales singing. To paraphrase Megan Trainer; if that's what you're into then you might as well move right along. But if you are looking for practical real world advice to live a richer and more fulfilled life, then this book is for you. As I read through this book I couldn't help thinking that a fully leveraged lifestyle must be pretty intense. To implement all of the strategies and advice in this book requires a complete shift in both thinking and behaviour for most of us. It would require a level of change that doesn't usually happen overnight. But of course you can't change your life for the better unless you do something different right? Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of madness. Okay, so you might not want to implement all of the strategies all at once. That's fine, you can do as much or as little as you feel is appropriate for you. I love the fact that this book is written in straight forward, down to earth, language that anyone can get their head around. It makes it plain that the only thing that holds people back is their unwillingness to move forward. The strategies in this book are not difficult to implement; it can be scary sometimes, change often is but the process is simple enough. The only minor niggle that I have with Life Leverage is a fairly heavy use of unfamiliar acronyms. There are not a lot of them, and they are easy enough to learn but they still bugged me a little. But don't let that put you off reading this. The valuable information far outweighs a minor irritation.

For Those Who Don't Want To Settle For An Ok Life.
This is a must read if you want to achieve more in less time. We all have the same 24 hrs in the day,why is it that some achieve more than others? After reading this book the answer became very clear - LEVERAGE! Leveraging other people's time to get most of the job you are not so skilled at that will probably take you longer than someone who is skilled. I have also learnt that working with other people will help move your business faster to where you want to be than working on your own. I only like to learn from people who practice what they preach and I can honestly say Rob does practice what he preach. I had the opportunity to visit Progressive Head Quarters in Peterborough as I was offer some free tickets with the book purchase, I also took some of my friends with me and I was very impressed. I could see in full swing what Rob was preaching about in his book. He is skilled, smart and know how to leverage his time. I was hooked and decide to join the Progressive community which is full of positive and inspiring people, no neg heads or nah sayer's which is very refreshing for a change. Now I tell everyone and anyone I care about to join the community I usually don't give reviews full of fluff and buff. I say what I mean and mean what I say. I feel this book and other books Rob has written about like The Property Secrets which is another of my purchase is worth shouting about. Don't take my word for it. Just try it! Go ahead and make your purchase, you will be glad you did.

Conceited but useful
Self congratulation aside, it's worth a read. "Outsource admin tasks" being the short version. A bit detached from the real world though. Advice like "work in Dubai through winter, then here, then there, and hang out at golf clubs with millionaires and by the way I know CELEBRITIES. Easy!" is not realistic (nor desirable) for normal people. Written from inside a bubble, high on the fumes of some success. Success driven by 1 cycle of credit expansion & the most reckless central bank policy in the history of mankind. Tempting to believe it's really this easy: and it has been for any property investor in this 20yr cycle of cheap, easy credit. The more leveraged the better they have done: it is possible for that to backfire though. See the 90s UK for negative equity stories. Yes, sorry, I'm the bad guy in the pantomime: boos and jeers. If Central Banks continue to give away near-free money: leverage away, stay giddy on positive self help speak, outsource boring stuff and you will probably succeed. If. Regardless, the whole philosophy of outsourcing admin I like, and there's more really intelligent observations about the working world. Clearly a bright chap with insights worth considering. If it weren't for the smatterings of conceit I'd warm to it more and give 4 stars.

Life style Leverage.................Life changing.
Lifestyle Leverage is packed full of useful up to date information for the serious minded Entrepreneur, based on fact by one of the best in the business Rob Moore. Rob has shared with us the tips and techniques he uses on a daily basis in his business life that have helped him be the success that he is today. As soon as I started reading, I found this book very difficult to put down, better still the tips and techniques he has shared you can implement straight away, thereby saving you time and money. Napolean Hill did a great job when he wrote Think and Grow Rich, what Rob has shared in Lifestyle Leverage shows you how to accelerate the processes using modern day techniques to enable you to reach your goals and targets in super quick time, so that you can see the significant step changes in your business and personal life. Not only will these tips and techniques save you time and money, they will also help you claw back your time. I have implemented a lot of the techniques straight away, by leveraging the jobs I hate out to other people, the job gets done twice as quick. Combine this book with Mark Homer's Low Cost High Life, between the two of them they have given you the blue print to achieving hopefully a lot less stressful way of running your business and thereby creating a better way of life. I would recommend that anyone serious about business buys Lifestyle Leverage and for goodness sake keep it on your desk not on the book shelf. One of the best business coaching books I have ever read. Thanks Rob.
