Great kit!
I was looking for parts to build a static grass applicator (which are stupid expensive) when I came across this kit. I knew it would take longer than a normal item to arrive being that it ships from overseas, but the price was right so I tried it.I was very happy with this kit. It was easy to build, the included booklet has full color pictures and text instructions. I even received an email from the company to make sure I had received the kit and was satisified!Assembly took about an hour. I used a flat blade and small phillips screwdriver, a file and a drill. Soldering is not necessary but I choose to do so on some of the connectors. You will also need your materials to construct your grass container and a power supply. I used a dollar store strainer, dollar store tupperware and some bits of wire lying around. I like that plugs are used to connect the container. This allows you to make as many different sizes as you want and easily swap them in and out. For a power supply they recommend a 12V wall wart or under. I used a 5.6V and the results were excellent.Overall, if you have some rudimentary tinkering skills, this is an excellent way to get a great static grass applicator at a fraction of the price.

It really works great.
I bought this and it only took a few weeks to get here to the USA from Poland. The instructions are a bit vague but a guy on YouTube has a vid on how to put it together. It works fantastic. Better than some of the more expensive versions. If you can still a few holes than you can put it together. You have to provide your own strainer and a few lengths of wire but it is well worth that minimal cost. I recommend it to anyone that wants a good static grass applicator but don't want to break the bank getting one.

Not as easy as this ad makes it seem!
This kit in no way at all comes with 'everything you need' nor is it 'no tools necessary.' The 'instructions' included are a very, very, very basic guide on what the different parts of a static grass applicator do. There is a link (which of course you can't click, since it's printed) to a YouTube video, which is only *slightly* better. *You will need to understand home electronics assembly if you're putting this together*. You will also need: a drill, several screw drivers, wire cutters, wire strippers, extra wire (what gauge? no idea), a random power supply (perhaps a phone charge you don't need any more), and the actual applicator (some sort of strainer). Also, the static generator included in the kit is too big to fit in the provided plastic box. I guess it's just supposed to be separate? The fellow in the YouTube video appears to be an older train hobbyist, and assumes you already know everything he does about electronics.I hooked this up the best I can after running around trying to find everything necessary (there is no list included, you'll have to figure it out), and my lights dim when i turn it on, because *i have no idea what the hell i'm doing*.It works, though!I gave it 3 stars rather than less because it's got the core of what you need, and it's cheaper by half than any other applicator kit out there. The guy also does a pretty good job selling it - the generator is better than your run-of-the-mill fly swatter that people use (so he says, i've no idea), and because he's not including an actual delivery method for the grass, you get to customize it according to your needs (i picked up a small strainer from the Dollar Tree).

it does not work
I bought one of these and built it. It worked for about 2 minutes and then quit. Thinking that I had made a mistake and burned the unit out or miswired it, I ordered a replacement and paid a second time for the unit. The second one will not work at all. I have gone over every single connection and rewired every single connection, studied the instructions, looked at the videos - no joy. For the two minutes that this thing worked it was great. In addition, the instructions provided are sub par at best. You have to watch the video to really make sure you are connecting everything properly. I think that the seller makes assumptions about peoples' electrical knowledge that do not apply to reality. Don't buy this product. Maybe I got two bad units and all the rest are great, but I doubt it.

Worked good while it worked.
Gave it a two because that was how many times I got to try it before it quit on me. Greatly disappointed in it.

Powerful and easy setup
Great fast shipping. Easy to setup the kit with provided materials. Very flexible as you can make your own applicators. The literature is done well with sufficient information in my opinion. I am using 12 volt power and it is very powerful. Be aware! The static field is very strong so definitely be careful if you are sensitive to a static field. Its hard to know if you will be or not I suppose. While in use I can feel the static field around me so I dont work very long with it in one sitting but it gets the job done very well. You can reduce the power with a lower voltage input. This informstuon is listed in the literature as well.

Staic grass aplicator
This is the nicest plain Jane kit I have ever purchased. But it is complete and works well. It was easy instructions to follow and I think it is the best for the money. Buy it because you will not be disappointed.

Inexpensive and easy to put together
Excellent little kit with detailed instructions that include links to videos for the visual learner. It was easy on the purse strings too!
