I had initially thought my birds might not take to it for this reason. Not the case. To get round this, I slightly break/crumble each berry shape apart with my hands, before adding it, as a supplement to my birds' food. The broken pieces seem to still be big enough for them to exercise their tongues and beaks. One of my birds in particular seems to take delight in hunting for the small pieces of papaya, pineapple and mango, which he loves. The product also contains seeds, cereals and vitamins and minerals which is also a plus. I will purchase again. Review: Overall worth buying - Seems a good product my bird eats so must be good ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0002ARFQK | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Best Sellers Rank | 167,839 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 1,951 in Bird Food | | Brand Name | Lafeber | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,360) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00041054826406 | | Item Form | Pellet | | Item Weight | 0.1 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Lafeber | | Manufacturer Part Number | 82640 | | Model Number | 82640 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | UPC | 041054826406 015568956218 | | Unit Count | 284.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** All Life Stages - **Brand:** Lafeber - **Item form:** Pellet - **Number of items:** 1 - **Unit count:** 284.0 gram ## Images ![Lafeber's Gourmet Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries for Cockatiels 10 oz Bag - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61sBbufp5TL.jpg) ![Lafeber's Gourmet Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries for Cockatiels 10 oz Bag - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618vnxQALtL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I just got this today wanted to ask should they be soft mine r** A: What do you mean by soft?
